..Ashia couldn't let Rider hurt the loner, though, so she stood in front of him and stared him down. Rider backed up, suprised, then glanced at the loner and bared his teeth. "Why would you protect trash like THAT thing? He doesn't deserve it, Ashia." Ashia blinked and said softly, "Everybody has a right, Rider. Even Omegas." Rider flattened his ears and turned away. Ashia sighed and looked back at the younger wolf. His eyes were wary now and he wouldn't take his eyes off of Rider.
..Ash felt anger pulse through him. He knew Rider was probably a high ranking wolf in the pack, so he didn't take a step towards him. He knew Ashia was waiting for him to say something, but Ash didn't want to anger Rider. Suddenly, Rider whipped around and had a quite disturbing smile on his face. "Well, if we don't attack, you know what Alpha says. Bring him in." Ash growled and got up, ears flattened. Ashia looked over at him and sighed. "All right." Ash whipped his head around to her, angry and ashamed he had trusted a pack wolf.
.. Ashia felt bad about taking the loner prisoner, but she had to follow pack law. She walked over to the loner and beckoned him to follow. He did as she asked, but he wouldn't come closer than a tail length of her.Rider trotted up ahead, acting like an Alpha. But Ashia was next in line for leadership. She was supposed to pick a high ranked wolf to be her mate, but she didn't know if Rider would be right. He was handsome and strong, but could be cruel at times. The loner started talking to her, interrupting her thoughts. "So...I'm your prisoner?" Ashia looked at him and laughed. "No, no. We just need to talk to my father, Alpha Sharpfang."
..Ash smiled quickly at her then hung his head. Alpha. No Alpha has liked him before. They reached the camp clearing and Ash was suprised to see it empty except for a few wolves restling in the dirt. Rider led them to a rock where a large male lay, head on paws. He opened his eyes and blinked. "Who is this?' Rider pushed Ash in front of him and growled, "This loner was found on our territory." But Alpha Sharpfang just smiled and mumbled, "Well, he a good fighter?" Rider laughed and said, "Nope. He's an Omega." Ash held his head high but he was afraid, and he saw Ashia looking at him apologetically. Why would she be guilty? A horrible feeling entered Ash's gut, and he saw glittering eyes in the bushes...
