Dat anatomy. .______. Eeeee. c': I've been thinking of making this guy for a lllooooonnggg time and I finally got around to sketching him. He doesn't have a name yet though.
Ignore the timer. Dear gawsh. I left it open twice when I went to go eat and I kept forgetting about it and coming back to finish it.
So.... I'm trying to figure out how to describe him. I know what I want to say I just can't think up the words. >_>
He's quite timid, however he is not shy. He doesn't mind talking to others and is actively involved in conversations, though his voice is sort of quiet and he goes about things in a non-aggressive manner at all times. Despite that... cold look I gave him in the first sketch, he actually rarely ever looks like that. He's someone who seems very... Approachable? He has a hard time saying no to anyone.
Then there's the other side. Once you befriend him and he gets comfortable around you (and most of the time if you're not in public) he's incredibly goofy and will voice his stranger thoughts rather than his usual rational ones. He's much more enthusiastic and passionate about things around friends.
Little back story time back story time back story time back story time.
Okay, you're probably wondering about the sharks. His dad was one of those wannabe-macho-men and was constantly angry at him as a child because of his naturally timid and gentle nature. He wanted a son who was, well, tough. What's tougher than a shark to a kid? Maybe a dinosaur, but they're dead, so... His favorite animal ended up being a shark. To him sharks represented the strength and power that his father wanted him to have. He became so obsessed with this image that he began wearing a shark tooth necklace at all times, and would sometimes have rather awkward bursts of anger in an attempt to appease his dad until the time he was thirteen and realized that it wasn't really worth it. However, he'd grown fond of sharks after learning so much about them, so he still wears the necklace. And after learning about them and how sharks will die if they don't continue moving forward, he thought that that was a rather good life lesson. It taught him to look forward and keep the past in the past.
Derp. Okay that was longer than I expected. I'm done. ;_; Bye.
