Welp.

Some of you may remember me saying that I was never a fan of Cinder x Fire...

I guess I was wrong. It's kind of tragic. I mean, we never really know if things would have happened between them, but we'd like to think so, wouldn't we? Yeah..

But anyway. This is more of a dream-like picture... Blame my AcaDec teacher <-< He had us read "The Trial" by Kafka, which feels like an entire dream rolled into one book..

BUT ANYWAY.. The faded Cinderpelt is more of her showing how she feels about Fireheart/star. And the whole scene between her and Fireheart is more of a dream she's having, about them being good friends- perhaps more.

i never been a big fan of cinderxfire. it just seemed really strange to me, can you convince me?

Well, the way I see it, it's not much of a full on romance as it is a great friendship that Cinderpelt felt disappeared once Sandstorm became Fireheart's love interest. As an apprentice, Cinderpelt was mentored by Fireheart- personally I think she greatly admired him, and I'm sure loved him dearly. But after her accident, she wasn't able to be a warrior and had to become a Medicine Cat, who could neither love another cat, nor have kits of her own. And I think such a terrible shock like that left her wishing for something she couldn't have, like Fireheart.

But that's just my take on things.

It baffles me how there's scarcely any comments on this beautiful oekaki. Personally I think that CinderxFire was a lovely friendship that Sandstorm broke apart and it was a skinny love for Cinderpelt. I couldn't imaginee them together, where as Firestar and Sandstorm are easily pictured. Heh. cx

Anyway, back onto the art it's absolutely beautiful...the style you've used is lovely and Firestar looks exactly how I've pictured him throughout the books ^-^
