I agree with you. Most people load their sonas up with every marking and color available, and they just end up looking dumb.

Well they don't always look dumb if you make it look right...

That is true, I have seen beautiful intricate sonas, but most of them just look like every possible option was piled on to them, and when there are so many features it is hard to notice and appreciate them individually.
