Re: Simple 'sonas

People often try to make fursonas as a reflection of themselves, or what they themselves would like to be. Each fursona is a persons' own mirror of there personality. We as people are intricate and expressionate. We wear clothes, jewelry, and many different accessories to express how we feel. Now when we throw animals (and imagination) into the picture it's different. We can do whatever we want to get the emotion and "feel" we want to be able to portray through these drawings/characters. Art is expressionate. We can choose to show great finesse in our work, or we can be simple. We as people have our own personalities, thus resulting in different styles and ideas. Leave it be. It's all beautiful.

As stated before I don't have anything against people with complicated 'sonas I just really like to make art for people and i get stressed when the design is to complicated for my simple mind to wrap around :c

You don't have to do art for people if you don't want to.

Art: The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination.
Use your imagination in your own way :) It's your art!

Mine's fairly simple, but she has a unique color pallette and design, but again, simple. She's easy for me to remember, and the only accessories she has are a silver stud and a small silver hoop. I love her design, and really, its her personality that matters, as she portrays me ^^

I love Alva, though, I think she's the perfect fursona for me.

I love your fursona, though. I think it's adorable :3 Such a cutie! Awesome drawing

I wish I could draw digital art without premade lineart...
hey I'm Alva!

I agree with you. Most people load their sonas up with every marking and color available, and they just end up looking dumb.
