:3 this looks really awesome! (and it isnt a fail) i would just add more variation of colors between the cheekbone and the ears, it only has a few shades. also use some awesome refs that have extreme lighting they help a lot C:

Yeah, when I drew the head, I didn't add ears, so I was halfway into the lighting and I saw there were no ears. So they lack color.

It's a nice start, but the eye is too high on the head, and a little small. Your bending is also a little rough, making the horse feel a little flat and cartoony. If you use colors that 'melt' into one another and the blending tool, it will help your drawing to seem a little more realistic. As for the mane, I'd go back in with the eraser and a dark pen with a very thin line width. Overall, however, the drawing shows signs of talent. Keep practicing!
