Unlike many other ponies, her special talent isn't just one particular thing. Without any real unicorn magic or pegasus power, she can make you smile in even the grimmest of times. Spreading happiness, love and friendship, in other words. c:
Her cutiemark, showing a broken heart and a tear, may seem sad and dull, but as you can see, the tear seems to be frozen and still in the past, and the heart has been stitched up again, with love and care. This represents the fact that time heals everything, and you should never stop believing so. c':
