..............
Timer doesn't lie, I spent a lot of time planning and drawing this out. I know it not amazing but I'm still pretty proud. ^.^
Please tell me what you think, this is my first time drawing a few of these animals here (usually I just stick with less cartoon-like horses XD) and would love some comments and criticism.
-Thank you.
Oh, and also wrote small story to go along with this picture. I know I'm not very good at writing but I'm working on getting better. lol
I might have to explain it's hidden symbols though.
The pure white, completely blank world is symbolizing how many kids and adults alike feel inside when the stress of their real life takes over. For example, school, jobs, family issues... The dog in this story is anyone feeling down and the new, colorful world they enter represents Chicken Smoothie as a place to help everyone get away from the chaotic reality that is life.
Enjoy.

Her paws leaving no imprint to the ground, she wandered aimlessly through a vast zone of complete nothingness. Her pure white coat matching the blank surroundings that seemed to swallow her whole, the floppy-eared dog often feared that she had gone mad with age or maybe even worse.
In all honesty, she couldn't remember a thing past the moment her eyes had opened in this odd world where no color dared to venture and yet, deep inside she knew something better was waiting for her here... though yet again, she had no idea what or where this idea had come from or were it was hiding now. It was like this place never ended. It just kept going and going and there seemed no relief of an end. She just walked without sleeping, walked without eating though never feeling the pain of hunger or the heavy exhaustion that in reality, would have come.
Something would appear, something would save her from this boredom. Surely she didn't deserve the torture of an endless life in this no where of a land but time did not stop and her legs would not give in. Many times she wished to collapse, to shut her eyes and rid herself of the white view before her but an invisible force forbid the poor dog from stopping and seemed to pull her eyelids back as well. They would not shut, she would not stop. She kept walking, there was no end.
For days it seemed she walked though there really was no way of knowing for sure. Every step taken she lost a splinter of hope and even the smallest segments lost added up. Her will to even imagine dreams of finding paradise was fading... but patience is the key. She would tell herself this line over and over again until the words began ringing in her ears. The ringing, like everything else in this horrible place would never end though and even seemed to grow louder to a point in which it became an annoyance. Typical. She begged for it to stop but the constant echo of her voice would not seize. She couldn't take this anymore and a growl erupted from her throat. She let loose a fierce bark which harshly sounded around the room-like area and then everything was silent.
Her heart skipped a beat, she had stopped. Finally, her legs had stopped moving. She could blink again, she could feel again, she could feel a soft breeze moving through her fur. Her head rapidly turned in every direction it could, looking for an explanation. What happened?
The wind suddenly increased and she let her eyes close, allowing the breeze to play with her hair and giving her mouth the privilege to lift into a smile. Okay, she had to admit, this felt good but something so brilliant she knew couldn't last, something would go wrong. She knew it, expected it and soon her thoughts had been confirmed. She felt a drop of rain hit her pelt and gave a shutter of displeasure.
Her eyes shot open. Would it turn into a flood? Would she drown? Would that really be so much of a bad thing if that were to happen though? She sighed as her gaze fell upon the spot in which the "drop of rain" had fallen but the sigh turned to a gasp.
Rain it was not, the brown liquid seemed to sink into her fur and spread like fire across her white appearance. She stared with wide eyes, not sure what to make of the odd occurrence and then suddenly, another drop fell and in the same way as the last, began spreading across her pelt. She shook herself, coming to her senses and kicked off the ground into a sprint but the droplets followed and each time one would hit, her white coat lost more and more of it's original color until it soon became a complete shade of brown.
She skidded to a stop, taking time to look herself over. She was not in pain, this liquid which now dried had not harmed her in any way, shape or form... so what was it's purpose? Puzzled, the now brown dog squinted her eyes in confusion. Well, at least this was better than the total blankness she were before and that's when she noticed, noticed that she was not the only thing changing. The world around her was fading from white to a light green. The ground was sprouting trees, the trees were sprouting leaves and the leaves held more color than she had seen in a long, long time. She cocked her head and raised a brow, curiously gazing around as new life surrounded her. Greens, yellows, oranges, all colors took over and her pearly white grin was soon the only thing remaining the same. Another drop fell, though this one was tan and dripped across her back and down her tail. She turned circles, watching in pure awe.
More animals were appearing from the trees. Some seemed disoriented, obviously new to this land as well but others looked as if they had been here forever.
Another bit of tan formed as a crescent moon to her hip and the last bit of color made it's way through her fur. Two purple swirls spread themselves across her shoulder and rump; the final touch.
Once a colorless world of boredom and stress, now a colorful land of excitement and happiness. Finally she had found her paradise. Chicken Smoothie, this was where she belonged.
