I'd LOVE suggestions! I'm going for tech-sounding, music-themed names.
(I'd love one in another language!)He has the tubes because his heart is pretty much an air purifier. He'd die of suffocation without them. His throat doesn't lead to hs lungs, so he breathes in, it travels through the tubes to his heart, which cleans the air, and then through the second set of tubes to his lungs. The impurities go into his blood and are taken to the stomach, where they are digested.
His items are the green heart monitor in the middle of his chest, blue cordless headphones, an ammunition belt, an arm thing with 3 wires going into his arm that can either monitor the level of toxins in the air outside, or the purity level of the air inside of him. (The air flowing through the lower tubes should be clear and pure; if it's not, that's bad.). He also has a leather tail thing, leather 'gloves' for his hind feet, blue jeans, and a belt.
He has an odd backstory. His mother was a lab tested cat who was physically and mentally scarred. She was horribly ugly, a result of trying to mix human and cat genes. She had a kitten, and this guy was born, but he couldn't breathe. He was born an anthro, which is what the scientists were trying to achieve, so they did their best work to save him. They realized that his heart was a purifier, so they inserted the tubes and gave him the heart and air monitors. He grew used to them once he woke up, and the tubes had to be changed as he grew larger. (There is a metal mechanism in there that holds them in place, and he has spares.)
He eventually escaped the lab, but never found his mother. I am debating about whether having him in a postapocalyptic world, perhaps. Open to ideas!
(I know he's not my usual, but I love him anyways. XD)
