I bet you haven't noticed yet that I love playing with light and effects...who would've thought? xD
The idea for this came to me when I thought about what christmas theme I could use for my pic, and suddenly I thought of the star of Bethlehem and remembered a bible verse (a part of the one quoted above) that's written on a small sculpture of the stable of bethlehem we once recived as a gift. Then I remembered how much I love it when Friesian horses bow down, as they're one of the few creatures on earth that look proud and majestic even when they're taking a bow.
So here I go - the mare is a major w.i.p. and I think imma need to fix up the anatomy a LOT (I just included the sketch to give a basic idea of what it'll look like), but now that all my exams are over I finally have enough time on my hands to work on things like that. Abosultely enjoying this so far. ^^
