I met Keru in a cold dark alley. It was winter, and the snow was coming down fast enough to bury your paws if you stood still for a minute. He was huddled behind of of those big dumpsters, you know those industrial sized ones. The poor baby was actually not that sad about it. He took to the kitchens of cafe's for food and often narrowly escaped with his life. I started to feed his scraps of food when I was on my paper run. Soon I'd go into town just to feed him. Eventually it turned into going for walks then he decided to come home with me. He decided snowy streets weren't for him any more.
He has this cute little top hat and bow tie he likes to wear, but he gets embarrassed if I make him put them on it front of other people. Definatly a hugger he is.
