The pale moon glistened upon the overhead forest, illuminating the only white figure
that dared to fly above the gnarled, black trees. His fur was like falling ash, leathery wings only a hint darker.
The blue markings on his ears and wings were strange for a creature like him but it had no effect on his flight.
He opened his jaws in search of any prey, picking up only the smallest scent of a nearby insect.
The Bat licked his lips hungrily and gave an echoing cry to try and locate his meal.
and there it was... flying out in the open.
The bat dove down, tucking his wings against his body, wind whistling in his large ears. His good eye scanned the area in front of him for the small bug and once he saw it, it was lights out. He opened his jaws in a grin, and snapped them shut upon the bug.
