Well done, but could i just suggest a few things you could do to make it look better?
-Make the neck a little shorter and the muzzle shorter
-Add a bit more hair and make it more waver
-Spend more time on it, you could then give it more effects like fur

i know, i did the complete opposite of what you wanted with the mane, but still, i like it straight...

hhhmmm... a little criticism if you want it:
*the head is a little flat and a bit too long still
*the neck is too long, and straight
*the main lloks like human hair, as if it is only growing from one spot on the heda, not down the whole neck. also, it usually looks more real if you add bangs.
but other than that its pretty good, i especially like the eye!
