Well, this is a simple scene actually. To the right we have Sabini- elder sister to Sarabi. And the to the left, Tanga, Sabini's son.
To put it simply, Sabini loves attention- she craves it.
Because her mother was good friends with King Mohatu and then his daughter, Queen Uru, King Ahadi, Uru's mate, had originally chosen her as Mufasa's queen. Of course, Mufasa was still young- Sabini was a bit older than him -so it wasn't announced just yet.
Sabini, being the attention hog she was, made a couple of passes at King Ahadi despite the age difference and the fact Ahadi had a queen. When Ahadi realized she was a bit of a Royalty Flirt- meaning she only really loved those in power -he came to the conclusion she wouldn't make a fair queen and did the only thing to keep her from becoming just that. And thus, Sabini became pregnant and was unable to become Mufasa's queen. Instead, her spot was filled by none other than her younger sister Sarabi.
For many months, Sabini didn't know of Ahadi's trickery, until her son, Tanga, began to question about Ahadi being his father (many rumors flew around the pride about the striking resemblance between the King and the cub). Sabini wouldn't confirm, nor deny it, but instead spoke to Ahadi about what she should tell Tanga. Ahadi accidentally lets slip his secret and Sabini is outraged. She of course takes it out on her poor son.
Later on, Sabini, who hasn't learned from experience at all, bares Scar a son named Kiboko. Sad to say, both of her sons lead very sad pride lives at Pride Rock, and both leave to make their own lives else where.
