(Species by ~Apple~, design by Deadly Nightshade)

A Kiamara I really hope to win :3 I'm really proud of this so far, especially her expression <3

Just posting this now, I'll finish it tonight or tomorrow <3

EDIT: Done, but I forgot her feathers xP Eh, I'll add them later. Oh, and her name's Pyracantha <3

EDIT 2: Redid the shading and added feathers :3

I love the lighting you used in the background, and the way you sort of gradiented the grass darker. But I dont think brightening the lineart so bright was a good move. It makes it look odd, as well as your shadding seemed.. missplaced? I would say try darkening up that entire chest area and just put the mid tones (your main color) at the edges and lighten up the shading the further back you go.

The chest, to me, seems a tad bit wide for how small she is protrayed in the refference. But then again, I'm not the best at animal anatomy (shocking, lol).

But the entire peice is really wonderful, I love the warm colors <3 I've always been a sucker for sunsets too. The pose and the background come together real well. Which is saying a lot! I can't even put a proper background on my drawings xD

Thanks for the critique, Geinkotsu! Yes, I noticed the shading looked odd too, I'll fix that up later :3

&& Thanks LOCW!
