Sorry, but I don't think this is intermediate worthy. Sure, it's decent - better than I could do - but it isn't for the intermediate section.
I am aware of the many other pieces of art that aren't even as good as this that are in the intermediate section, and it actually upsets me. I find it absurd that they would post it in that section. I have taken it into consideration, but I still don't think you should move it there. Just because other people are posting worse drawings doesn't mean you should follow in their footsteps and post things that don't belong.

((Please note that I'm not trying to be mean, hurt your feelings, or criticize too much. I didn't lie when I said that's better than I can do. When I draw in the Oekaki, it looks even less recognizable than Nick pets [no offense intended]. Which is why I stick to coloring in lineart. :P))

Let's see...

Well, you notice how in your ref, the tail isn't sticking up? You can still see it, but it isn't straight up. Also, because your tail is separated like that, it looks really abnormal, because in real life, the tail wouldn't stick up like that and wouldn't be separated into pieces.
And you could move the front legs up a little bit. See, in the ref, it looks like the back legs are closer to the ground than the front legs. If you did that, it'd make it look more like it was jumping. Because now, it looks like it's a standing horse with a whacked out tail. :P
And the mane is just a tad bit long, and because of it's color, it makes the neck look really thick. I'm not saying that you change the color, just make the mane a bit shorter.

Okay well with the legs being opposite the pick was purposeful b/c I was not trying completely copy the picture as that would be art theft and the tail is separated b/c her fursona has 3 tails .. the horse is supposed to have its front legs are downhill and the back legs higher... but I'll try the mane :) (this has the markings and such b/c it's for Wolf Rider)
