Nah, refs and I don't get along well. xD I try to use 'em, sometimes, but the end product never turns out remotely like the reference, and I end up more frustrated than usual. :p I do have an animal-drawing book, though, which I looked at for the basic facial anatomy. xD

I usually use refs, but i'm doing a pug right now (It's a WIP, in my gallery if you wanna see it) and the muzzle always turns out sideways! I've tried...*counts* Maybe about 20 times, then I quit and asked for help xD
