i drew it on paper first :3
then i did a sketch on oekaki, putting the paper over the screen (imma cheater X3)
after that sketch, i did another sketch to make it look better (on another layer of course)
i removed the first sketch
i used the second to create the lines (using size 1 for pencil on a layer above the sketches)
when i was satisfied with the lines, i deleted all sketches
after that, i duplicated the lines layer, and shifted that layer a little bit to make the lines larger than pencil size one, but smaller than size two
i merged those two layers when i saw them fit enough :3
then i added another layer under lines layer and named it color taimet
i used a grayish pink to color taimet in all the way, (even the small bits by the fur) with that color
i then clicked lock alpha and colored her back to white.
then i made another layer, under lines and color tiamet, and named it color mango.
i used the same grey pink color to color in the mango all the way.
after that, i clicked lock alpha and colored the mango white.
i went back to taimet color layer, and colored her, her specific colors using my taimet reference.
i then went to color mango layer and got a grey-ish orange to fill it in
i slowly moved the colors on the mango from orange to green using the water color tool.
i went to the lines layer and clicked lock alpha.
i right clicked ( using pencil tool now) the color near the lines to use that color. i colored the lines all the way around as the color changed around the lines.
i made sure that there was no black lines left
i made a new layer above all the layers, and named it shade.
i used the soft spray tool, but lowered its opacity level (not the layers opacity) to about fifteen or maybe a bit more.
i determined a light spot and shaded where i saw fit.
if i messed up and went too dark, i used the soft erasure.
after shading, i went around and erased all of the shading i didnt need that was around the drawing.
i made a new layer called light, above shade layer.
i used the soft spray again, but with white, not black, like i did with shading
i went around and put it where i saw fit, using the soft erasure if i went too light.
i went to the first layer, the white background, and filled it black, to make sure i did not get any white outside the lines.
when i saw that there was no white, i refilled it back to white.
i went to shade layer and duplicated it to see what it would look like darker.
i saw that i liked it some and messed with the opacity, and merged the two shade layers.
i did the same with the light layer.
then, i went to the lines layer, and added my siggy by her tail
whew! that was alot!
