We re-homed my little boy Chester from Dog's Trust Roden (now Shrewsbury) at Easter last year. He was found in a box on the streets of Ireland. We don't know his birth-name, but he recognises Chester now. I have been going through a really tough time this past year, and he has helped me pull through it. He's always there when you need him, and he'll just sit there while I cry my eyes out into his fur. He knows when your feeling down, and he helps you through. He is perfect, apart from his fear of other dogs. But we are getting him over that now.
The face is the one he made while he was shut in the kennel, and we walked past. I took a photo and that was the ref for the face. He actually looks really strange. He has a collie head with oversized ears that have earned him the nickname "Yoda." and he has a terrier shape body with black spots. He is medium sized, with a husky-like white tail. Odd dog. we call him "Head transplant dog" because of it!
He is so kind, gentle, and loving that we don't know why he was abandoned.
I have had depression recently so I have really relied on him. I love you Chester.
(His birthday is 9th April - the day we re-homed him - so if you want to wish him happy birthday for then, just comment!)
Posted in beginners as it's not really intermediate worthy - well I don't think so.
Like, crit, comment - they mean the world to me and him!
