[ideas for species?:] I'd make them into a magical closed species - two sides, Earthians
and Heavenborn. Earthians are only slightly different than the Heavenborn appearance-
wise, them having natural colours whilst Heavenborn can have unnatural ones.

Earthians will not have any horns/wings etc., but Heavenborn do. Some of
the Heavenborn will choose to hide their horns/wings etc., but that doesn't
mean they don't have them.

The children of an Earthian and a Heavenborn will be one of the two - of
Earth or of the Cosmos, meaning that they will inherit the traits of one of
the parents. Of course, it is not uncommon to see an Interval Earthian
(an Earthian x Heavenborn that has inherited most Earthian traits) with
unnatural markings/small wings or horns.
