We mean no disrespect to you guys either. Your writings are each unique to yourselves and great in their own way. It's not that we don't like them.

It's not hard to read, rather it lacks detail. Where is she? Why is she there? What's her father look like? Any brief moments of past history?
It's usually best if you have some kind of detail in your story that leads UP to either your character finding that creature or, like how Pharaoh put it, your character building that creature.

Unlike that though, I made my story from my creatures perspective.

guys, no whining. just because people are giving someone praise doesn't mean you can try to send them on a guilt trip. i've read all the stories and they're all good, and just because someone’s writing is more detailed or has less mistakes does not mean they are going to win.


i take whining and guilt trips seriously (as seeing how much people try to make me do art for them with guilt trips) it is spam and just plain annoying

I thank everyone who likes what I write, and I'm glad to receive such positive feedback. However, I really don't like this turning into some sort of problem. This contest is not based on the detail of the writing, but rather the descriptiveness of the character and what saikiyo feels is the best fit.

All the stories here were amazing, and all the ones I've seen have blown me away. I really don't think it's fair to say anyone is in a clear first because, as far as I've seen, nobody is. It's rather going to be a very close race on this one.
