We need your help choosing our next breed specific marking!

500 collie adopts ago, we asked the community for new marking suggestions - and Barbu was the winner! However, we also noted a couple of honorable mentions. These were ideas we thought could work well in the future when we were looking to add additional markings, and the time has come to diversify the breed’s gene pool again.

Griffin Torrens has made prototype sheets with several phenotype variations of each proposed marking so that each has a visual reference/mockup. You can view each one here: Fawn Harlequin | Quagga | Oryx

This collie will have one of the three proposed markings - and it’s up to the community to decide which one! There will be two different rounds; a primary round and a secondary round.
For the primary round, you will need to pick a single proposed marking you want to see made official, then find its form below, fill it out completely, and post it here! Each form contains the bare bones of a phenotype that you will be able to customize according to the choices in [brackets], as well as sections for a coat type and custom line edits. Each user may fill out one form during the primary round.

The details of the secondary round will be kept secret until the primary round closes so as not to affect anyone’s initial choices!
