What a curious pup! Their old owners just couldn't handle them getting into so many things or so many odd circumstances (such as somehow getting their head stuck between some stair rails), so they sent them here to find a hopefully more mentally stimulating and less accident prone home.

LOL yeah it's one of the funkier terms out there. Thankfully phantom doesn't share a name with anything else, looking at YOU sable in GSDs.

For sure made it easier to figure out what just "phantom" meant as a trait! Phantom Tanpoints are also a thing (dominant black failure, which also causes seal) but we figured that wasn't what you were interested in before we searched! Gotta love the standard of calling black merles blue and liver merles red too
