You're greeted by a very LOOONG chicoon, probably the longest chicoon you've ever seen. He is organizing books and papers at his checkout desk with the assistance of two cat burglars.

"Welcome to the library! I apologize for the mess, there's a Cat Burglar running around and rearranging the books on the shelves... and the labels on the shelves... and the shelves."

The long purple chicoon sighed and fixed his glasses

"I'm Poe, I run the library here at Chicoon University, But you may know me as the God of Lore... no? I'm also good friends with Edwyn, the God of Wisdom, New Languages, and Companionship!"

Poe motioned to the grey cat burglar with the fluffy cheek fur

"This is Bugz- they may be small, but they're especially reliable! They're great with a pen and are a wonderful reader. they handle my paperwork."

He motioned to the orange cat burglar who was missing half an ear, and had a very scruffy tail.

"- and this is Bees, they go around the library to make sure chicoons and companions are behaving, they are especially menacing when they haven't had a cup of coffee"

Poe motioned to a chicoon who was hurridly taking books off a shelf and placing them back, only to take the books back off the shelf and move them somewhere else,

"And over there, Is Francis. He volunteered as a library assistant right before the cat burglar situation started... i cant imagine how many feathers he's pulled out over this whole event."

Poe watched Francis for a moment before sighing again

"My companions are here to help me organize the books we get from returns but.. i'm afraid we can't keep up with the troublemaker who keeps appearing in our library."

You walk up to the entrance of the library again, you are excited to try to find another book- but afraid of what might've happened to the library. As you tug at the door handle you realize it won't open! Is it locked? Confused, you try to look through the glass windows and you only now notice how dark the library was on the inside.. in fact... you couldn't see inside? A moment later you realized that the library wasn't dark, the window was blocked!! By TONS of books with dark covers- you try the door once again and you notice this time it barely budges- shoving harder you finally shake the door free and tumble through the doorway through the stack of books. You are taken aback by the absolute mess that the library is in, you wonder how much a small creature could destroy so much of a building, it looks like almost EVERY book was out of place! You notice Poe sitting at his desk with his head in his hands, his other three library companions sat nearby, they looked just as defeated. You start to head towards the checkout desk when the little tan troublemaker seems to blink into existence in front of you, you jump backwards with a scream, catching Poe's attention and startling the Cat Burglar. The cat burglar dashed away in a puff of pages- running on all fours like an animal.
Poe steps up to you and greets you wearily "Hello! Here for another book?" Poe hummed and motioned towards the mess of a library "I can't say you'll be able to find anything but... I've managed to keep a few documents out of the menace's reach." Poe reached into his desk and pulled out a few dusty pages "Can I request you hold onto them? they are rather important." Poe asks politely "I would rather the cat burglar didn't get ahold of them." He sighed, "You're welcome to explore the library still, and if you manage to put some books back I would appreciate it, but please don't fret over anything and enjoy your stay."

You've obtained a set of documents, you cant seem to read what they say but you can recognize the image of a chicoon on them in a few spots! Maybe ask poe what its about tomorrow, he seems a bit too tired to answer any questions today....

Prompt: Overcast had initially adventured to the library to check out some books for class, but that was quickly a bust as the situation in said library unfolded before them. What a mess! "Oh no.." the chicoon murmured quietly as Poe explained everything to them. "I have a bit of time before classes, I can help out a little..." he agrees before trotting off towards the graphic novels section. While it was not his original goal, that section in particular was in such a sorry state that they couldn't help but be drawn to it. That, and they wanted to see what graphic novels were there. While sorting the books, Overcast was pleasantly surprised to see the Complete Edition of Bone! The book was like a brick, easily over 1000 pages. How cool to see the whole series in one book! It was often hard to find the next volume at other libraries, due to others checking it out. But now he didn't have to bother with any of that!

Other: (Bone is a real comic and is very long! I've never read it in its entirety but I did read snippets of it as a kid. It boasts a whopping 1300+ pages in the complete edition. That's a lot of art!)

While idly plodding along, a book caught her attention, a book that CERTAINLY belonged in the YA/Romance section! Nearnight, the latest in Teen Vampire Dramas! Glancing left and right, Poppet places it off to the side to check out for later....

Prompt: Shifting back and forth on his paws, Fetch walked through the aisles of the Library. Thanks to the dewey decimal system, he found what he was looking for fast. For years he had been keeping up with an LGBT+ romance series and the next book had recently come out. It was sold out everywhere. The library was his last hope! He scanned his eyes over all the books, looking for the telltale pastel rainbow colors in the binding- and there it was! He had to stop himself from letting out a high "YIPPEE!" as he grabbed it excitedly, musing about what the characters could be doing this time and if they'd finally hold hands.

It definitely isn't a book about naming books, and probably not a fiction book, but no one seems to wanna tell Sickle that!

Prompt: Max, an avid lover of books and reading, was incredibly appalled at the poor state of the library. How could a single Cat Burglar be responsible for such a mess? He shook his head sadly, feeling sorry for Poe. Figuring this was a good opportunity to actually work in a library (something he'd been thinking about for years), Max got to work in the Graphic Novels section. He figured they'd be a little easier to rearrange, seeing as most were clearly labeled by what number they were in each series. When he found himself looking at a lovely copy of Winnie the Pooh, he figured he'd check that out as something he could read to his twins, Kara and Quinn. [120 words]
