Prompt: Slurpee was surprised at why Bermuthos would snap at him like this. He thought, they had grown to somewhat like comrades. What drove the Cyx to act so out of persona?
While falling asleep on his sleeping bag, his thoughts wandered to an explanation. And it came up with one.
As everybody should know first, Slurpee is relying heavily on Slushees. He literally only drinks/Eats them and nothing else. His world spins around Slushees.
So no wonders, his mind went to Slushees...
In his dream, Bermuthos fought a wild Lion, thrice the size a normal Lion is. And he won, finding "The Map to ye olde, ancient Super Slushee". Never needs to be refilled, satisfies with one gulp, tastes like everything you wish. Bermuthos found the location they were supposedly hiding the last clue but couldn't find it. So, in his explorer fashion (enter Indiana Jones x Jack Sparrow picture) he decided to rank up some help. And so his Comrads dug for him.
Once they found the Cave, the last clue had been revealed. Bermuthos had too -
At this second in the Dream, Slurpee was awoken. Yawning, he stretched and went to check on Bermuthos and tell him about his weird dream.

Whatever the situation might be he’s sure once it’s found things will go back to normal, for now it's best to do as Bermuthos’ says and get some rest.

Prompt: Jade, now awoken from a good night’s rest, thought back to what Bermuthos had said. Why had he been so mad anyway? It seemed that they had gotten along fine before. In fact, Jade had thought of them as partners in pirate-ing(?). She thought back to what she had seen on the map before, but didn’t remember much because she had been so sleepy at the time. Wait… the lines clearly outlined the shape of a monster, right? Maybe Bermuthos had just been trying to protect her from a monster on the map the entire time. Not only did Bermuthos help Jade find treasure, but he was protecting her from danger the whole time? Jade teared up a bit. “I never should have doubted you, partner.” Of course, Bermuthos would be upset if Jade found out and backed out of treasure hunting…! She would definitely tell Bermuthos she wasn’t scared of ANYTHING if he ever asked :)

After such sweet dreams, you wake up. Quite early. Early enough that Bermuthos was still sleeping-...er well, up until the point there was a loud crash outside. You whip your head around as Bermuthos is startled awake, a loud snore being cut off as he gets thrown into a coughing fit.

You stand there, unsure of what to do, but eventually, Bermuthos collects himself and turns towards you, his normal, resting smirk on his face, "Good morning. I hope you had a good rest, we have much to do!" And with that, he marched on. Weird. Something...was off. He was back to his normal self, as if his tanturm didn't happen at all last night....Oh well, off to work we go!
