Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Prompt: Pacific White-Sided Dolphin is my favourite marine mammal all thanks to a lovely boy named Spinnaker who I met while attending aqua school almost 2 decades ago. I spent every morning for 5 days watching him and learning about him and his tank mate Laverne. Spinnaker was captured in fishing nets when he was young which is why he has the scarring on his pectoral fin, but he was the sweetest dolphin I have ever been lucky enough to meet. He would spend the hour I had to observe the dolphins every morning before the aquarium opened right next to me at the glass making clicks and just observing me back. It was one of the most special times in my life and too this day Pacific white sided dolphins remain my favourite all because of Spinnaker.

Prompt: :') Do I Have to pick a favorite..? I like the manatee because their faces can be squishy seeming, but I also like Harp seals because the Babies! <3 Then there's the polar bear and the otter, the humpback whale and the sperm whale. There's also the Beluga, Vaquita, and the Porpoise and Dugong (..and when I found out when I was little they named a pokemon after a Real animal.. <3).
I love all of them, but of these the population of the Harp seal and the Humpback whale is increasing. Where all of the others I listed are either unknown or actively decreasing. With the otters being endangered, and the Yangtze River Porpoise and Vaquita being critically endangered. The Vaquita only has about 10 to 18 of it's kind left in the world. I try not to pick a favorite because they are all important. But for now I'll say the Vaquita (if you're in need of a hard answer..).

If you're interested in a group that works to help ocean wildlife, there's a youtube channel called Ocean Conservation Namibia that go out to save seals (and sometimes whales and other creatures) with just some scissors and net. (To help get the trash they're stuck in off safely.)
