The Arman breeds Exact Origins are unknown, But here is what is known, it is known that this breed is descended from a mare of Salerno breed and a stud of Vladimir blood, this has resulted in a Heavy Bodied but light on their feet draft breed. It is also known that at some point in time, for a a period of time they where favored Mounts in wars and battles! The most common temperaments found through the breed is stubborn and energetic but also level headed, the range in height that they can be found is any where from the high end of 15 hh to the low end of 17 hh, with the odd one that reaches 18 hands or that falls on the shorter side below 15 hh.
Their coat colors are often times solid coat colors often times carrying or having aguito in its genes, they are good for farm work, dressage, Mounted Shooting and Calf cutting. They are often times found in areas in between Russia and Italy and are rarely found in the US but their has been rumors of a illegal underground Auction smuggling them in and as most of the buyers are arrested the horses need new homes!
