neat fact about them: there's actually a type of Cheetah called the king Cheetah which is just a regular Cheetah with a extremely rare fur mutation that affects the pattern of there black markings, instead of there usual small black dots, the king Cheetah has large black splotches, Longer Fur and a small back main.

The king cheetah is so rare that it is considered to be a endangered species with the estimate of around 60 in the world.

What makes these beautiful creatures so amazing and rare is that, the mutation can't just happened to any ordinary Cub, it can only happen through a (recessive allele) a copy of a trait that's in both parents, meaning this mutation is only achieved through genetic. And even with the recessive allele it can sometimes skip a generation, or only be active in a few cubs and not all of them, even further making the King Cheetah a rare animal making it truly fitting of the title King.
