Marking Ideas:

1. Variegated [Plant]: Seeing the potential for a plant marking instantly makes me think of variegated leaves! [X, X] In the first example, the plant is half white with the other half a funky mix of white variation. In order to define it separately from a typical white pattern, the 50% opacity should cover more than just the white marking border. The second example show an alternative that only affects the base color, and is more stripy. The strips could come down from the dorsal line and either extend all the way to the legs/head or just exist on the barrel and neck. It would also affect the mane and tail.

2. Great Plains Rat Snake [Animal]: Could be any snake marking really, but I'd figure I'd start with something a little simpler [X] The marking will make darker base coat splotches along the dorsal line extending no further than the middle of the barrel and neck, and be outlined in an even darker base coat color or just black. These are more uniform in shape though can be slightly varied. Then two more rows of irregular, smaller splotches will be below. The face has a reverse badger-like face marking, also outlined.
