"That's so great to hear, my friend," Max said with a genuine smile. "As for me, things have gone back to normal. My mate, Mirabel, and I are raising our twins, Charlotte and Quinn." The Chicoon father chuckled. "Those two are a bit of a handful, I'll say. But it is worth it to see them growing up into such wonderful little Chicoons."

The Chicoon pondered what he could tell Eyes about himself. "I'm a speech therapist for children, so when I'm not at home with my own two kids I'm helping other children." He smiled. "My favorite color changes all the time. Right now, it is green." Max tried to think of something else to say, but his mind was coming up blank. "Sorry, I'm still trying to process that you're really here now!" He laughed again. "It really is wonderful to see you. What else would you like to know?"

She wanted so badly to interrogate Eyes for more details on this and the intended recipient of the letter, but that wish was cut short by his request for her to talk about herself.

“Me?” she awkwardly scratches behind her ear, “I work as a gardener,”

Should she mention the hedge maze her latest client has had her design? Probably not.

"About me? Well, I guess I do the odd jobs that require fast flight! Getting things from hard to reach places, delivering missives that are in need of timely delivery. Oh! I've been hosting an event on the hilltop outside of town for the meteor showers, that's pretty fun! Favorite color has to be ALL of them!!! Prompt: She tilted her head and looked at Eyes with a mildly surprised and confused expression. “Me?” Splash questioned. “You… wanna learn about me?” Somehow, the chicoon managed to look even more energetic. “Well, exploring is one of my go to activities, you can always find such interesting things if you try hard enough.” She paused and thought for a second before continuing. “Blue in general is probably my favorite color, I just find it so soothing, yellow is a nice color as well, it’s bright and happy!” While she blabbered on, the pouch that was slung around her neck seemed to be… meowing?

Splash gasped quietly and hurriedly pulled something that looked like a cross between a slug and a strangely blue tabby cat, the parasite on its back was practically identical to the one on Splash. “This is Simon, he’s a little… dramatic” She placed the slimy yowling critter on the table, how hygienic. “I found him in the maze and he decided to stay around.” Finally deciding on what to order, Splash flagged down a waiter and pointed to something on the menu before looking back to Eyes, waiting for him to order.

Tófi is a little taken aback. Eyes wants to know about him? When they are clearly the more interesting one? He is barely aware of it happening, but his wings perk up and a shy smile appears on his face. Since Tófi is new in town, he’s been trying to figure out who he is and what makes him special or unique compared to all the fantastic chicoons around him. He is just a little guy with a big heart, no real skills or talents to set him apart.

“One thing that always caught my interest is marine biology. I know it’s a little cliché, being partially water and all, but I figure if I’m more suited to an environment, then why shouldn’t I put my efforts into it? I feel like I would dry up like a raisin if I did anything in the desert! Were there different biomes in the maze, Eyes?

I just find the ocean strangely compelling, like only 5% of the ocean has been explored. What’s happening in the unexplored parts!? Sea monsters and lost treasure probably haha!
