He searched around to see if he could find any other note parts... and he found the staircase and Egg.
Halki was a bit hesitant at first. But mysteries involving the pit were still within his interest, and he wanted to learn more about the pit.

Slowly, Halki followed the tiny Chicoon down the stairway.

There were missing others at stake here... and he wouldn't be deserving of his name if he let cowardice keep him from proceeding. He tried to keep that in the forefront of his mind as his paws shook descending the stairs.

Prompt: Everett looked around at the other Chicoons that the chicken managed to collect. Where did everyone come from, and why were they all blindly following a chicken? Everett looked at Sweaty and motioned toward Mariana. “Is its name supposed to be a pun based off of the Mariana Trench?” They asked, wondering if anyone else was thinking the same thing.

Everett did not want to be the first to follow, but they also did not want to be the last to go. They waited until a few Chicoons entered. Once Everett felt like the timing was right, they gathered enough strength to run at the entrance. Hopefully their face would not bang into the wall.
