It's national bean day so what better time to make this cat real

Swimming competition! To enter, choose one of your cats (or an
NPC if you don't have a cat), and write 100+ words about them preparing
for the competition. Prompt is the same as here for an example

10 competitors will enter, and then I'll roll a bunch of dice to see who wins 👀
Each dice will have 10 sides, and you'll need 100 total points to reach the finish line.
Dice will be rolled all at once, so if multiple reach the end at the same time, there will be RUs.
(Basically it's like a board game, but I roll all the dice)

Prompt: bumblebee paced back and fourth along the water's edge, looking at the other competitors around him also getting ready for the race. he liked to think that he was confident in his swimming abilities - losing this race would definitely be a hit to his ego, but he wanted to give it a shot regardless. he ran over his game plan in his head - just focus on himself and not the others in the race, and get as far as he possibly could. he wasn't entirely familiar with the other competitors, but he just had to trust them enough and hope that none of them would try to cheat and sabotage other cats in order to win. this was meant for fun... even though he was totally taking it too seriously. his pride meant too much.

Prompt: He literally was blessed by a swimming constellation. His name WAS a fish. No way he wouldn’t be able to lose this. He WAS the swimming cat he was the best swimming cat. He got ready by stretching and pacing around a bit to get his muscles all ready. He also groomed his fur a bit to keep it down and make him swim even faster. Yeah he was going to do this! Look at him he was the man! Anglertooth smirked and eagerly got ready and kept himself in motion the entire time. It was time and he was ready.

Prompt: Buoyar stretched his godly muscles, prepping for the future swimming competition. He'd clearly dominate them all, being the god of the sea and all. However, as the other felines around him prepped, he became uneasy. From long hairs to short hairs, tabbies, to solids, the cats seemed to be quite the pick of the litter. Perhaps he shouldn't underestimate them as much as he previously had. Pushing these thoughts and nerves aside, Buoyar padded to the starting line. His eyes never once feared the alien water as a mortal's would. Those ocean blues would be met with a potential victory by the end of the day. He was excited.

“You sure you’re ready for this?”

Starfish flashed her captain a wide smile.

“Of course I am, Caspian- you know well I’m one of the strongest swimmers on the crew.” While she spoke, the spotted molly stretched out each of her legs in turn, flexing her paws as far as they could go.

“Anyways,” she continued, “better that it’s me going than Curly over there. My fur’s nice and sleek- aerodynamic, you know?”

“What’s wrong with my fur?” Octopus fretted, glancing at his fluffy pelt.

“Not a thing, darling,” Starfish purred. “But you know I’m the faster between the pair of us. Well- I’m all stretched, got my head in the game, and I have two of my favorite cats on the sidelines to cheer me on- wish me luck!”

She disappeared with a wink, leaving Caspian looking exasperated and Octopus looking extremely flustered.

Coriander looked around at her competition as she stood on the bank of the water ready to dive in and give it her all.
"Not so tough these others, I bet I can take em'!" She would say to herself, a look of determination on her face.
She was used to pushing her body to keep going, what with all the travelling around she did for her work. She began stretching all the while keeping an eye on what the others were doing to prepare. She did her best to mimic them, hoping that anything she could do would give her an edge in the competition. "Alright..Lets do this!" She would psych herself up and await the call to go.

Honeydust shifted from paw to paw nervously as she glanced around at her competitors. She wasn't a particularly strong swimmer but she had always loved the water so it seemed natural that she would try and compete. Although nervous, she was also excited. She didn't get to swim often and even if she didn't win, she would still have fun!

She braced herself, dipping a paw into the water to acclimate to the temperature. It seemed to her that this wouldn't be too much trouble, seeing as the temperature was nice and brisk. It might encourage her to swim faster! A bundle of nerves, Honeydust nonetheless smiled as she prepared to start the competition.

Although this...swimming competition, did not hold the same weight as The Game, King Aeron still readied himself like he supposed a Valor-born might. He had always thought that he would choose Valor, had he not been born into the Royal Family. He tossed his head, ensuring that his crown wouldn't come knocked loose in the water. He supposed he could take it off...but eyeing the other competitors, he decided not too. Who knew what sort of...riff raff would be participating. Or watching from the stands!

Aeron stretched his forelegs, letting his claws flex. Of the other cats present, he was relieved that no one else from Elysium had been...summoned. It wouldn't do to have to explain to his subjects about "magic" and "other clans". Letting his mind clear of the cat who had brought him out to this timeless section of land, Aeron thanked The Four that the building the royal family lived in had a pool, that he and his kin had all been taught to swim in. Otherwise he might embarrass himself, and that simply would not do.

Flamethrower had no idea what he was doing here. He couldn't swim, and he had no desire to, either - and now he was supposed to win a competition doing it? Instead of them just choosing literally anybody else? He suspected Lightningfang had something to do with this, but he couldn't really do anything about it until after. After he was done swimming and getting wet and probably drowning. Or just losing, at the very least.

Whatever. He would do it and get it over with, and if he got out of it without soaking straight through he'd go and kick Lightningfang's tail for it later.

Prompt: lightstep stretched her body as she gazed upon the body of water in front of her. she could tell that it was relatively calm and still from her vantage point; however, she could also tell that once her and the competitors dipped into the water, it will turn violent and uneasy as they all swam to the finish line. she then eyed her competitors, all looking to be as able to win as the last. her neck fur pricked up some as a response, nerves. lightstep took in a few calming breathes as she finished up her stretches. looking back towards the water, she looked at it before trotting down the hill towards the starting line.
