They're quite powerful and loyal companions. While some may choose to live in colonies out in the wild, others may choose the companionship of humans. Many Storkies also possess magical abilities, though require the usage of runes to unlock them.

Vendetta prefers that special time of day when the sun says "Good night, world." The colors mixing in the clouds is a sight that is never the same way twice.

Russet's favorite time of day is the depths of night. They enjoy looking up to the stars, and making up their own stories for the constellations they see. The air is crisp and cool, and at night a whole new world unlocks of nocturnal creatures and sounds. The shadows that can be seen create an interesting array of shapes, and there is a sort of music that the bugs of the night create.

They also enjoy the individuals they meet at night who share their love of night, and the various activities one can only do at night like star watching and campfire stories.

The morning. Or more specifically the time before dawn, where the sun is hardly yet visible. Shapes emerging from the darkness. Birds starting their waking.

It would be the perfect time to hunt for worms, when even such squirmy things havent yet awoken to a new day.

But Dion hunts something far larger and more dangerous than worms. Something that every advantage against them can mean the difference between living, or having this be the last morning she enjoys.

This part of the morning is a turning point. Too close to the day for nightwalkers, too close to the night for sunstalkers. Yet with none of the daring who try to push past their prime during sunsets.

Dion loves and resents the quiet. Its safe, unquestioning. But she knows it only lends to her isolation, her rejection of civilisation and companionship.

Maybe one day someone will wake up as early as she does. But for now, she is glad it gives her an edge.
