Chicoons are a strange subclass of dragon, and although they are closely related to Amphithere as well as Western dragons, they are unlike either! Chicoon have long, flexible necks, a curly and stretchy tongue, floppy ears, a box-like head, wings on their head, and a flame that hovers by their tail.
Chicoon are Arboreal Fruigivores that stand roughly 4 feet in height. They have a high intelligence and can lean how to communicate with any animal, however lack the necessary vocal chords to speak any verbal language. They express emotions mainly through body language and the use of their head-wings, they have proven to be very friendly and generally enjoy the company of humans!
You find yourself lost in the maze, running around corners and finding dead end after dead end, the bland grey stone walls are no comfort to your oncoming madness. A flicker of blue light catches your eye- its unique occurrence driving you to follow, but it disappears once you turn the corner, a dead end in its place. As you start in another direction to continue through the maze a loud boom rumbles from the hall you had seen the blue light disappear through, you call out, and another deafening explosion echoes, followed by the sound of stone crumbling.
You hesitantly step into the hall, dragging your fingertip along the stone walls and looking for any movement, looking to the end of the hall you realize it seems to be darker then usual- the unsettling light from the maze didn't seem to reach as far as the dead end you stepped into. Suddenly another echoing boom filled your ears and your dead end was swamped with with dust and debris, the end of the hall had been destroyed, in the hole that had appeared was a huge monster, backlit with red and blue lights.
It takes you less then a second to recognize it as a terrifying chicoon, its tail flame the source of the red light, and the uncanny blue diamonds on its tail the source of the blue. As you look over the chicoon, you realize the beast is hissing, its wings outright in a threatening manner, its shoulders tense, and its feathers were ruffled in anger. It let out a hiss and lifted its head at you...
This chicoon is obviously angry! Do something to calm him down
The minotaur chicoon will follow you if you decide to leave the area, so anywhere is fine for you to go in the maze.
