Prompt Response: Trick tends to hang out a lot with Zoomer. Zoomer doesn't consider his parasite to be sentient enough to be it's own body like Trick does with Treat, so their experiences with having parasites is a little different, but they stick together nonetheless because they seem to have a bond over being parasitic. It's a good relationship, they wouldn't be considered best friends but they are definitely friends.
Trick values friendship above all else in their values, and so Trick tends to spoil Zoomer on occasion as a love language of, "hey, we're friends!" They act like best friends for sure, but Trick really insists they aren't because they have a higher threshold for that sort of thing. They don't really consider anyone their best friend, except maybe Treat, even if he is a rag half the time.
Trick is a little bit oblivious to noticing things about others, especially when it comes to Zoomer. Because Zoomer seems to think they're closer friends. Maybe not best friends but just about. And Trick is completely unaware to the hints and suggestions that Zoomer gives about it. Trick is, however, apparently a charmer. Trick has a charismatic personality that Zoomer has repeatedly said was endearing and attractive (even if he didn't see them in a romantic way). Trick is, also, oblivious to this as well. Trick just thinks they're a complete schmutz. But they aren't, apparently!
Trick is in good health most of the time, so that's why they spend most of their time taking care of their friend Zoomer when he's sick. Trick can recover from anything in the blink of an eye. It might be because of Treat... no one knows! But Zoomer does not. In fact, his parasite even droops sadly when he's sick and he gets even more terrible feeling. But Trick is always there to lend a hand.
Trick and Zoomer are of opposite intelligences. Trick is smart enough to get by and is seen as fairly intelligent by others. They have a lot of "useless knowledge" and trivia floating in their head that they don't give themself a lot of credit for. It's more like... street smarts than book smarts. Zoomer, on the other hand, has the intelligence of a not well sharpened pencil. His braincell did it's last cha cha not too long ago and he's been riding by on sheer luck. The fact that he hasn't flopped over like a sad sunfish yet is astounding. He has DUMB luck. Like deus ex machina.
Trick is not very strong, so he usually asks for Zoomer for help in that department, who is STUPID strong. Like, One Punch Man when it's funny. Maybe not that strong but still. Trick and Zoomer have a symbiotic bond when it comes to strength and dexterity. Trick is more dexterous. They are so good with their hands. The two of them could probably parkour together, one doing the work for the other that the other can't do. Like one moving body. They're weird like that.

Prompt Response: As mentioned earlier, they are very hermit-like with their lifestyle. Having pretty much no relationships with anyone else other than their parasite. But that relationship isn't toxic in any way, even though it might seem this way to an outsider. They both feel stronger and confident together and they get along great, they are very much like companions to each other.

Belenus had felt...somewhat put off by the question. By the concept of relationships in general, but then a small, cheerful voice rang out in his head. "Oh, don't worry, Belenus, you have plenty of people who like you! Even the chicoons back at your old home don't exactly blame you so much as they're disappointed... I'm sure they could still be your friends if you asked!" Belenus perked up slightly upon the acknowledgement of the voice. That wasn't Bile's voice. He had immediately searched for whoever had dared to tell him such positive affirmations, but then heard that same voice giggle at him. "Down here, big man! Two doors across from Bile!" It informed him, and he looked to his legs, seeing a purple parasite having attached itself to his leg. You know, now that he had thought about it, he had felt...more powerful during his rest, not really a sleep, but not exactly staying awake either. He of course had felt it, but with the context of everything else, and the fact his eyes were closed, he had imagined it was some sort of innocent insect or creature. "Howdy, new friend! Hope you don't mind that I hitched a ride, heard you were wantin' a new parasite anyways!" Belenus blinked very slowly in response, needing a good moment or two to take what he knew implicitly from what was occurring and turn it into a sentence before he could react using a proper response with words attached. "No, I... Don't mind. You were right in the assumption I am just... surprised that I didn't have to go looking for you, I suppose."

"Oh yeah! I followed that little guy who decided to take a nap near you!" The parasite had explained, and Belenus turned his head to see a small Hopper, its shell seemingly covered with a sort of parasite, two large eyes staring at him along with the Hopper's small eyes. "Oh, So I was correct in thinking an animal was here." Belenus spoke, seemingly being the final bit of noise needed for Bile to rise from his own rest. "Mn, it's too loud, I'm an intelligence focused parasite, as much as I can handle anything I still need... sleep?" The eyes on Bile looked at the eyes on the other parasite, and it didn't take long for Bile to start communicating with the other through Belenus' head, allowing him to also look at the conversation and get the information that they were sharing as well. Apparently this parasite was named Dionysus, or Dion for short. Considering Bile's name was four letters long, everyone decided that the new parasite going by Dion would be the best for all of them.

Bile is Belenus' first parasite, and has been around him the longest in terms of those that are currently in his life. He's considered Belenus' closest friend, as he's been with him through pretty much everything. Bile worries a lot about Belenus, especially since he's seen him grow over a long time and knows that even if some things have improved, other things have been concerning or even detrimental. In a way, he's a friend but also a sort of caretaker, at least to the sense that he's a voice for reason for Belenus when he's at his worst points- it comes with the territory of being a parasite with an association to Intelligence.

Dion is Belenus' second and most recent parasite, though he's been looking at Belenus' progress for a while. Dion thinks that Belenus is a bit too introspective for his own good, and might have more issues in the future if he, a certified charisma aligned parasite, didn't step in. He can sense there's a lot of good stuff in Belenus, like the ability to identify situations and emotions, he just finds that the chicoon has troubles when it comes to things such as sharing his own emotions or putting himself in others' metaphorical shoes. Thankfully, Dion is here to help, even if Belenus doesn't want the help! Of course, Belenus wants the help in some capacity, but he'd never admit it.

Mima is a small Hopper that decided to follow Belenus around, plain and simple. The small creature finds Belenus very interesting, and Belenus can't help but feel somewhat emotional and protective over the small creature. She loves to be picked up and placed on Belenus' back whenever he had to walk around anywhere, and she's now the primary reason that Belenus rests at a normal rate despite his increased constitution. Mima may also have a parasite, but she's still just a little creature who needs her naps and to be protected. Speaking of, Maim is Mima's parasite, attached to her shell. Of course, Belenus doesn't know what Maim is ever thinking, but Mima and Maim talk quite a lot and seem to both enjoy Belenus' presence. Sometimes Maim's eyes will blink slowly at Belenus, which according to Bile and Dion mean that the parasite is calm and at peace around him, so that's good.

The only Chicoon that Belenus would consider a friend really is Petri. They had met again out in the wilderness, and in all honesty Belenus hadn't recognized them at first until they started speaking. Petri was sick often, so of course Belenus had to care for him often, but it turned out that Petri found himself attached to his own parasite, and was able to be healthy and active to an extreme. It was nice to meet someone that Belenus both knew from his past as well as someone who had a parasite like he did. Petri dish is definitely more charismatic and excitable than Belenus, but that doesn't mean they can't still be good friends and make up for each others weaknesses. Mima also likes to hang around Petri, which is another reason why not being friends with them would be out of the question. They don't see each other too often at the moment thanks to the current situation and this whole... soul searching journey Belenus has been on, but that hasn't stopped them from crossing paths every once in a while.

Prompt Response: scintilla has close bonds with many! their closest relationships are with their family, and they also have a varying level of closeness with the other chicoons in their village. alongside that, they get along well with their dremon companion, crumb - they adventure everywhere together and rarely leave each others’ side. on the other hand, scintilla has a neutral bond with one of their parasites, iota - sometimes, they can get along with each other, but other times they tend to get on each others’ nerves. they also like to think they have a positive bond with their other parasite, atom! though atom isn’t able to talk due to having no mouths, it uses its eyes to emote and respond to scintilla, iota, and crumb.

In terms of Bonds, Anti-Hero used to have many before his incident. he was abandoned by those around him and gained a newfound appreciation for loyalty. Speaking of loyalty, he didn't exactly lose everyone, he still has his companion, well, not really his he would say, but the companion follows him around like they're bonded or something... The tiny amongsus bean had taken to him when they were a lot younger, and while the bean never seems to age, or change at all, he's stuck to Anti-Hero through everything. He'll be a little scout, telling Anti-Hero of anything and everything he can't find out on his own anymore.

Prompt Response: Scout has an on-again, off-again relationship with Rift, her parasite. She does not want the relationship to be that way — that is just how it is. As explained earlier, Scout and Rift have different opinions, especially when it comes to what is wrong and what is right. The pair could work together well if they only agreed to put their differences aside. All in all, she would classify her relationship with Rift as being good. Both Scout and Rift have mutual respect for one another.

On the other hand, Scout and her companion, Laguna, have an excellent relationship. They are both guilty of finding and inciting mischief. When one of them is in trouble, the other one will try and help. Since Laguna always sides with Scout, Scout always seems to slip in the fact that “Two beats one” when it comes to making decisions — Scout and Laguna on one side, and Rift on the opposite side.

At the end of the day, these three are family. This particular family goes through ups and downs, but love prevails all.

Adynn has a very special bond with his parasite Aysel, choosing to accept the new creature rather than to shun or attempt to get rid of it. As most others he had met did.

he also has a somewhat new bond with a recently found companion. The little bugger had been trying to steal some food from Adynn, no doubt hungry judging by the lack of meat on its bones the poor creature had. He offered it some of his rations and it had soon warmed up to him. After feeding it for a while whenever it came around to sniff at his latest findings, the new friend decided to stay with Adynn.

After that he had washed and cleaned the companion, finding to his surprised that the little thing also had one of the parasite creatures. It was like they were meant to be.

It came wandering to him a few days ago and they actually are great friends now! But eh well yeah. Tree really loves his friends and he really cares about every one of them! If you hurt them, Tree will surely talk to you about how it is absolutely not okay to hurt his friends. Like, Tree will make you feel bad about making his friends feel bad, so don’t do it. Other than that, Tree is really nice to everybody, so if you need a new friend, Tree will for sure love you as a friend!

Prompt Response: Truthfully, Shiloh doesn’t have many strong bonds with other chicoons or companions. As a whelp, Shiloh had a difficult time socializing with other chicoons, which resulted in them growing up not having any long-term childhood friends. For most of their life, they felt as though their relationships were impacted by Courage, who tended to push away other chicoons with his obnoxious personality although Shiloh themself was kind. Although they made a few during childhood and adolescence, these friendships where short-lived and none of whom they had interacted with have a current relationship today. Today, they only consider themselves to have one genuine friend, which would be Etch. As an adult, Shiloh found comfort in frequenting quieter public areas that were not heavily populated by other chicoons. One of their favorite sports was a small, quiet library located within a forested area. This library usually only had around three to five chicoons inside at a time, with most being known as “regulars” who would sit inside and read, write, or create art. One winter day, Shiloh noticed a chicoon come inside that they had never seen before. Unlike many chicoons who would ignore them, Etch made an effort to introduce himself and speak to him. The two had a similar personality, with Etch being introverted himself and not having many other friends. Additionally, Shiloh and Etch shared similar hobbies such as reading and writing. Shiloh noticed that Etch showed genuine interest in them, asking about their life, hobbies, and things they enjoyed. Additionally, Etch never minded that Courage could be a little rude at times. He understood that this was not something Shiloh could control, and saw them both as individuals sharing the same vessel unwillingly. One thing that struck out to both Shiloh and Courage was that Etch himself talked to Courage, acknowledging his presence and working to learn more about him as well. This resulted in Courage showing a softer spot for Etch as he felt respected. Shiloh and Etch spent many mornings, evenings, and nights together in the library, chatting and sharing their favorite literature. They consider Etch to be their best friend and the bond the two share continuously grows the longer they spend time with one another. Likewise, Courage enjoys being around Etch as well.
