Belenus is a reference to a celtic god of healing that is said to be connected to the Beltaine festival, which celebrates the beginning of summer and protecting of cattle from disease as they were lead to summer pastures. It is quite an ironic name seeing as Belenus is 'plagued' with a parasite, as well as getting ill often due to a poor immune system. Their parasite's name is Bile, or more accurately typed as Bilé. While the proper typing is a reference to a character described as an ancestor of the gaels, the more basic way of typing is a reference to the word bile- both in it's definition relating to anger, and the alkaline fluid. It's gross, but it felt fitting for a parasite, despite Bile itself not exactly being the angry type.

Both my chicoon and parasite have a name, although anyone referring to “The Mischief”
My chicoon's name is King, which is the name given to them by their parasite because they control the body.
Their parasite is collectively called "The Mischief" (which is the name for a group of rats), they’re called this because their parasite decided to form as a fused together blob of rat-like creatures. There are no real individuals, they all a collective hive mind. Any chicoon listening to the parasite can hear multiple voices.
King doesn’t really like being called King, but their parasite insists. Everyone kind of just followed along, so now their named King.
Also a little background on this idea, I just thought it would be cool to make a chicoon kinda based off rat kings! I love rats, and I feel like this would be the perfect idea for a parasite lol.

I hope this idea is fine! I tried to keep the parasite as one entity rather than multiple, but if this isn’t legal then I can definitely think of something else!

This chicoon's name is Leviathan meaning 'Sea monster' while their parasite is named 'Envy'. The chicoon received the name Leviathan from the community members, in the village he was born in, after a chaotic accident accrued in the village. Leviathan was falsely accused of being the cause of the accident and was accused of conspiring with evil forces for simply having his parasitic abnormality, which caused them to be banished from the village. The villagers will tell other towns to "beware of the Leviathan, destruction and envy will soon follow". Leviathan does not like nor dislike his name but he chooses to go by Levi for short.

Scout’s family often told her about how her name came to be. Even as a young Chicoon, she was always busy daydreaming about going on journeys, missions, and quests. Scout seemed to be born without an understanding of the word ‘fear’. Although her family would often worry about her, Scout always did her own thing, and never really thought about the consequences of her own actions until those consequences were right there in front of her. Her lack of forward thinking inevitably gets her into some sticky predicaments, but that is just how Scout operates.

The parasite is named Rift, and Scout thinks the name came naturally. Rift rarely agrees with Scout’s decisions, which leads to an obvious argument. This ‘rift’ in their relationship never lasts long, but their fights are extremely frustrating to both parasite and host. Neither party ever admits they were wrong. I guess that is the dynamic when both Scout and Rift have headstrong personalities.

Prompt Response: My Chicoon's name is Crpytid. His name means a creature that certain people believe in, but it isn't believed in by mainstream science. His name was chosen for him because it is Halloween themed and he is believed to be a cryptid by some Chicoons because of his parasite that has infected his tail and may slowly spread over time. We can't forget that his parasite has a name as well. Or so it claims. Cryptid has the ability to speak to his parasite, as it can control his mind and channel thoughts into his brain. The parasite claims that it's name is Ghost. No one really knows how Ghost got its name, but it's believed to have come from the species of parasite it is or it's ghostly looks due to being albino.
