Diz placed the homemade headband atop the Mimichu's head with steady paws and then stepped back to admire his handiwork. The headband had tiny bat wings on either side, creating the illusion of them growing out of the Mimichu's head. (As long as you ignored the very obvious black headband they were stuck to with glue)

Mimichu did a spin on the spot, looking down at their handmade costume. The vampire cape they were wearing flared out behind them, and the clasp and chain that fastened it around their neck were shining in the light of the room. Mimi stopped and smiled at Diz gratefully.

The eevee returned the smile, "It was my pleasure don't worry about it" he assured, "I've had to help my little siblings make costumes every year growing up". And then his eyes widened as if a lightbulb just lit up above his head. "OH! Hang on a sec! Hold still"

Diz rushed off to get a washable marker and then held it steadily, drawing two little fangs onto Mimichu's smile. The pokemon laughed at the sensation but did their best to hold still. Apparently pleased, Diz stood back and nodded in approval.

As Rylee was left in Auntie Appletun's Cottage he began to get bored and restless.

He decided to go to the art stall in the town and do the art activity. Which was making a costume for a mimichu.

Rylee quickly got to work, making a beautiful costume of a pumpkin headed hero, which he got inspired from some childhood bedtime stories.

The pumpkin was made of paper mache stained with orange flowers, the gown was made of black fabric which he bought from a vendor. And the mask above the pumpkin was made with paper at the booth. It looked wonderful.

But a disaster happened, when mimichu tried it on it fit too tightly!

Dinky giggled, as they ran off, before wobbling back with some costume supplies ,as they quickly worked on a costume for the mimichu. After 20 minutes of dinky working, it was finally complete! As they helped it put on the costume, and sure enough, after it put the costume on, it was revealed to be a zekrom costume.

prompt: sweetpea and honeyshuckle sat with bated breath outside of mimichu’s room. moments before, the pair’d been in the room, rolls of fabric and thread messily strewn about. after a couple hours relentlessly sewing, taking measurements, reworking what they’d sewn, and then repeating, sweetpea, honeyshuckle, and mimichu collectively decided their work was done. the latter mon had shooed their friends out to officially prepare their costume.
noises of struggle and fabric scrunching were heard. sweetpea and honeyshuckle looked at each other with feigned assurance. minutes passed by; mimichu refused assistance with putting the costume on.
finally, after 15 minutes of fussing, the critter comes out. they adorn a cowboy hat and a tattered, tasseled top. a bandana sits around their neck.

"Here we go!" Elaine says rxcitedly as she pulls something from a bag. "Oh don't look at me like that, you'll love this one!"
She holds out the costume properly so mimichu can see the dark flowing cape and the black bat wings. The wings are realistically made and the cape is patterned with intricate gold sewn in with utmost care.
"Custom made, just for you!" She smiles. Elaine is unable to figure out what mimichu is thinking when the little pokemon puts on the cape and wings, but she smiles brightly upon seeing how well it fits.
"Oh! And I almost forgot!" She reaches back into the bag and pulls out a small black top hat. "It wouldn't be a costume made by yours truly without one of these."
She places it on mimichu's head and sits back to admire her handiwork.
"And there you go! Perfect, if I do say so myself."

xxxThe Mimichu's eyes light up. "Really? Will it protect me too? That's the most important thing about my costume. It keeps me safe."
xxx"Absolutely." Romeo starts digging in the soft dirt next to them, leaning down to mix it with his saliva for the perfect consistency. The Mimichu watches curiously.
xxx"Okay. Stay still, or it'll crack." Romeo starts building the Mimichu the best armored costume he can.
