Port wasn't a fan of the idea-- but he didn't think it was worth fighting over. Terra, Ezra, and Sunie spent the whole day clearing out and widening the cavern he called home. Somehow they made multiple floors in the layers of ground, keeping the edges a safe distance from the end of the cliff. Each Pokemon created themself a room and decorated it to their liking.

Sunie's room was pristine and warm, dry wheat making a welcoming bed. She shoved a few colorful leaves around the part she'd be sleeping in to add some color. Otherwise, a small pile of her feathers lined the nest as well. She'd set a pile of logs in the corner, unsure of where else to put the logs. There wasn't much more to the room and it wasn't big enough for anything more anyways. Sunie's room seemed pretty plain but it fit her just right and she was more than content.

Ezra's room was lined with moss and soft leaves. She'd dragged in a pillow in -- which happened to have a case depicting some Ghost Pokemon using Shadow ball. She also carved herself out a bookcase and stuck some valuable items on them. A Poison Orb, Electric Stone, few miscellaneous books, and a basket of assorted berries to munch on if she got bored. To add a little flair and celebrate the season some, she decided to add some Joltik web hanging from the ceiling too. A small electric lantern and radio sat on a pile of compacted dirt near the pillow-nest too. Overall, her room seemed much more lived in and relaxing than the others.

Terra's room was the largest of all- she'd gotten one of the ground type Pokemon to help carve out two rooms connected by a hidden doorway. The first room was rather simple-- accessories displayed on a shelf she'd managed to drag down, a small cabinet of valuables, some stylish and comfortable lounge chairs, and even a rug of moss. She also had some fairy lights hanging around. The second half seemed to be a giant bed. Tons of blankets and pillows and even a mattress completely covered the dirt floor. Otherwise, no Halloween decorations sat around.

Port elected not to make his own room and slept in the room with the portal.. which just left the main entrance of their secret base. Sunie hung string lights across and zigzagging all over the ceiling like spider webs. Ezra tossed some dark dyed bean bags in a corner and put down rug to separate the space some. Terra, on the other paw, went wild with Holiday decor specifically. She put a giant spider figure looming over the exit, a few very skull-shaped rocks in the windowsill overlooking the ocean, and even some torn fabric up around the dirt walls (also partially to cover them). She somehow convinced port to scratch up the parts of the wall that weren't hidden, making the space even more scary.

A perfect Halloween abode for Star is a spooky abode as it should be. But he must know absolutely all the traps, he must not be too afraid either!
See those haunted castles full of darkness, old furniture, cobwebs, and pumpkins? Hey well, that's a bit ready. A real vampire house, whose king would be Star in disguise. We must therefore not neglect the details of the bedroom, whose bed would have the shape of a coffin, and the windows would be so closed that they could not be opened from the inside. No one can escape this haunted mansion...

Except the editor who unfortunately mismanaged his editing, and forgot to modify one of the green backgrounds of the new Halloween movie. Too bad, Star was starting to think it was all about him. It only remains for him to reproduce this idea in his house... If only he had the courage.

Ashen was an outsider to the Halloween festival, living and wandering in fields far from the place. So she slept in a cave nearby and collected fake skulls from around town to hide in the cave. More than once she was coming home from a long day of festival to see a pokemon running off terrified.

She collected spider webs and other creepy items he got from doing quests for people around town. Her cave was simple yet effective in scaring other pokemon off. She rummaged through garbage cans for effectively scary torn cloths and other miscelanious items.

Decorating was kind of hard sometimes when you lived in the pokemon equivalent of a suburb, with plenty of pokemon living in different houses with different levels of tolerance to scary things. They could all agree to not do anything that would scare Twist, their trainer- and arceus forbid anyone put up something that would scare Twist's mother, that'd make any of the pokemon there feel awful. The area ends up looking a bit like a regular town with the halloween decorations, with some differences house to house depending on who lives there. Astren and Ricin live together with Twist, and the house is mostly decorate with Hex Maniac inspired props. Kerberos' family, of course, sets up some fake fossils in the yard as their halloween decor. Meanwhile, the spookiest of the groups, Manchi and Coraline, have the most spooky decor, but thankfully it's not actual ghost fire that paints the lawn or real skulls floating around the house. Some would think it's a bit far, but Twist enjoys the decor, so it's fine.

Euchre takes care to decorate the outside of his shop accordingly for the Halloween season, even closing down shop the whole day to do so. He starts by sending Salt away to bring him some fall leaves and some (allegedly real) bones from Cleido's fortune-telling tent. While Saline is away doing that, he meticulously threads some multicolored string, in shades of orange and black and purple, all along the outside of his stall. With a quick favor comprised of Banks using string shot, Euchre even has webbing all along his store.

Excellent, he thinks to himself, beyond pleased. Now all that's left is for Salt to come back.

It takes thirty minutes more than Euchre would expect, but Salt does return with a large sack full of autumn leaves and a second smaller back full of bones, looking as disinterested as ever. Ignoring their lack of enthusiasm, Euchre inlays the leaves with the webbing and hangs the bones from the threads in an asymmetrical pattern. The final touch to it all is a few jack-o-lanterns carved with help from Valazar, one of the new union recruits. In two hours, Euchre's market stall has been entirely transformed into a wonderfully festive spot.

He can't wait to continue his completely un-shady and trustworthy business dealings with this new seasonal twist! [218 words]

Uno's owner goes all out for Halloween! She puts up signs, little trinkets, and even spends time doing crafts. The outside of the house in the yard is a whole graveyard, with gravestones and such. Uno loves to help carry the gravestones and just loves Halloween. His owner even makes her own costumes and usually makes Uno a costume too! He loves dressing up in all sorts of costumes! Uno just loves this time of year!

in the little building adrian calls home, he always makes to sure to decorate to the point that some may call an obsession. pumpkin carving is always first. he invites his friend ana over to help come up with cool designs, and then adrian will carve them to the best of his ability. the lines always come out crooked and haphazardly shaped, but they do always look at least a bit spooky. the two of them next have a tradition of cooking the leftover seeds and eating them.

after that, using old, crappy halloween decorations adrian has been gifted over the years, spiders, ghosts, and the recently carved pumpkins get put up on the outside of the house and in the yard. it's super disorganized, but in the end adrian's home looks very festive indeed.

Zander ran about the cave, putting pumpkins absolutely everywhere! Real pumpkins surrounding the entrance, pumpkin stickers placed over the walls. He ran out of the cave and trotted back in with a big blanket covered in pumpkins, placing it over the spot where Wander liked to sleep. He nudged it and got it to look all cozy before he set up halloween candles all over the place(since Wander had made so many the other day). He stepped back to take a look at all of his decor, wondering what was missing. It was then Wander walked in, holding a pumpkin garland and gave the little zorua a smile.

"Finishing touch?" He said as Zander bounced and grabbed the garland.

"Yes! It's perfect!" With the help of the hc flareon, Zander put the garland up along the wall and at last his pumpkin'd out halloween abode was complete!

prompt: Amicia is more of a wanderer, never really having a home to themself. But, if they found a place to settle down and decorate, they'd go for a graveyard/witch type of aesthetic. Get some webs from a Bug Type acquaintance, have a large, bubbling cauldron with fake tombstones around the place, maybe a few Ghost Type friends to give out some spooks! They'd dress up like a witch, make snacks and drinks as faux potions and cursed treats, while they may be a loner and quiet, they do enjoy making kids happy just like any other pokemon.
