Prompt: One evening while the sun was setting, Ocean went for a stroll on the beach. The sky was colorful and beautiful. She watched as the moon and stars become more and more visible in the dark sky as she slowly strolled along the shore. She then came across many large rocks. The rocks formed a small pool. Plants in the pool and around the rocks. She decided to check out the natural rock pool.

Ocean had walked up to the rocks and plants to discover some small things. The small things were moving very slowly on the plants in the pool. She moved her head in for a closer look. There were a variety of snails with different colors, patterns and designs for their shells. She examined each one very curiously. She then poked her nose into the pool of water and picked one up with her lips and set it on a rock. She watched as the creature slowly crawled over the rock and back into the pool of water for several minutes. She then began to look around the pool, plants and beach for empty shells to collect and bring home to add to her collection.

River was just wondering around the stream as usual.
Then all of a sudden she sees a treat. She didn’t wonder how it got there. She just knew she wanted to eat it before anyone else does! So she cantered over and snatch the little molasses snack right up! Then she immediately spat it right out! UGGGGHHH. She was so disgusted and disappointed at the weird texture and nasty flavor. She looked to see what was wrong with the treat. Just to see it start to slowly sliver in its Slim to get away. She doesn’t even know what to think. River can’t believe she just had that thing in her mouth. She never wants to see anything like it again.
To this day River is petrified to eat anything other then grass and hay.

Aphrodite lingered around the pond’s edge, moping about her lack of apples. What was a mare to do? Surely she would starve before the next time the humans came, even though they came multiple times a day, the same time every day. She briefly eyed the dead tree before going over to eat the bark and instead finding a large, apple sized snail climbing the tree. Her mouth watered. Surely it would taste the same, no? As she went in for a bite, she suddenly felt a stinging pain in her back as something hit her. She jumped and bucked, looking around frantically to find the offender. She found nothing but a tree branch on the ground beside her. Aphrodite shrugged it off, declaring it a coincidence, but as she leaned in again to bite the presumably juicy, sweet snail, she felt the pain again. Another look around confirmed it was only her, and this snail. With far more hesitance, she leaned in once more and as she expected felt the pain of the branch. She gasped as she stared at the magic snail in wonder. “I will bring you apples. And my enemies. We’re going to be best friends.”

When she first saw it she simply ignored it. It was small, and didn't move. At least that was what she thought.
That changed when surprised by the sudden movement , she saw it slides it's head out of their shell. She lowered herself so she could better see the creature. It was tiny, yet wasn't scared of her at all. It looked at her , or at least in her direction and slitherd away . Amused Tina went back to her herd.

She grazed alongside it for a while, watching as it made its meandering way along the fenceline. When she went to go grab a few sips of water from the trough and came back, to her surprise, it was gone. Must have moved quicker than she thought.

Glo was looking for something to eat, and made her way over to the tree where the mangoes grow. She stood on her hind legs, forelegs braced against the trunk of the tree, and reached up. She wasn't able to pull the mango down but she could reach enough to nibble at the bottoms of some low hanging ones.

That was when something touched her nose. It felt wet and slippery, and it moved in fits and starts. Her eyes widened and she tilted her head to the side, trying to get a look at it. The thing dropped to the ground, scaring her. She had brief thoughts of stomping it but as it slowly unfurled from the shell and the antenna extended again, she found it rather cute. She lay on the ground for a closer look and lowered her head to allow it to crawl back over her muzzle once more. It felt a bit like a massage, albeit a bit slimy!

From that time on she would go to the mango trees and seek out her little buddies. When other zebras come near, she gets protective and kicks to chase them away from her tiny helpless friends.
