Little something extra: Sara smiles and nods at Mystra. "Of course!" She is glad to see Mystra is happy again, but inwardly is still a bit irritated with the chinati for upsetting her in the first place. They had better have some very good explanations for all this... Sara already has several questions they want to ask this mysterious organization, with even more piling up in their mind as they head over to the secret door with Mystra. Surprisingly, though, the room is empty... Besides yet another triangle, of course. Sara really should have known that was coming. Still, she approaches the table to read the note, wondering where everyone is and why they just left a note rather than at least sending someone to answer any questions the two may have. Really, it was rather rude...
The note itself did not particularly impress Sara, it only answered three questions and they still had dozens more. Surely the chinati knew they would have more questions than this? And the only way to learn more was to talk with them about joining? Sara didn't like that, she wasn't willing to agree to anything without actually knowing what was going on here. They glanced at Mystra, relieved to see she appeared uncertain about this as well. Sara found this whole thing awfully suspicious, the chinati going to all the trouble to lead them here but then no one bothers to show up? Truthfully, Sara mainly wanted to just leave, but she knew she and Mystra would probably never get answers if they did, which was the only thing keeping her from immediately suggesting they leave.
"Well, I am certainly not going to agree to anything until they give us more answers than this, I mean they did not even explain anything about how they are keeping things in order." Sara began, frowning slightly. After all, they could be doing more harm than good just for the sake of 'order'. Especially considering how they were willing to hurt Mystra's feelings and the threat at the end of this note, it didn't seem like the chinati cared much about the damage they might do to others as long as they keep their precious 'order'. Sara was not interested in joining any organization that did not care about the harm it might be causing. "Still, if they are willing to actually explain what is going on here without making us join first, I am willing to hear them out. It is probably the only way we will find out what is going on, anyway..."
Sara took a deep breath. "We can stick around a bit longer and see if they are willing to explain... And if not, we can just leave... Yeah, that sounds like a good plan..." They looked back at Mystra. "What do you think?"

Little something extra: Ally enjoyed causing destruction to the room with Pixi and did not mind if the doll was actually a laser-wielding alien. Dolls were actually a lot more terrifying to Ally so it came as a relief. When Mystra looked uncomfortable, Ally stopped for a second and said, "Don't worry about it! Just because she's an alien doesn't mean what we're doing is the wrong choice!"

Little something extra: Olli reads the note closely, giving it a lot of concentration and thinking through their options carefully. He looks at the pin and gently picks it up, looking at every detail closely before turning to Mystra. "I think we should join them...maybe doing so will get us the answers we are looking for, as well as a good talking to for their previous note." He honks softly, picking up the note as well. "Let's get our answers that we came this far for, together!" He smiles to Mystra and then glances around the room. "Hmm...the only thing the note didn't mention is what we do now, I dunno if we wait here for them or do we go and search for them?" Olli wonders, before settling down. "Might be best we wait I think...I don't think they'd like it if we went snooping around, probably best we stay on their good side cause we need answers!"

XXX"Of course I mean it!" Gilia exclaimed, giving Mystra a brief sympathetic nuzzle. She hoped that their guide was well enough to continue exploring this mysterious place- or at least to not start crying again. Gilia did feel bad for her, as the note was unkind, but if they wanted to get to the bottom of this they couldn't be stopped anymore. With all three of them now prepared to proceed, Caiman, being the largest of the group, lead them out of the sand pit and up towards the newly opened door.
XXXAs they rounded the corner of the doorway into the new chamber, Caiman spread his blue wings, hoping that if there were strangers with ill intentions within, they might be frightened by his size. Finding nothing but what appeared to be an office, Caiman gestured for the others to enter, adding, "It's empty... Only a desk and another note. So much for treasure and riches..." This time, Gilia slipped past Caiman in the entrance and began to read the note aloud for the others.
XXXThe young chicoon snorted at the first paragraph, muttering, "Of course they couldn't meet us in person..." before continuing. After she had finished, she returned the note and began to examine the three pins on the desk. "'Chinati'... that's what you called them earlier, wasn't it, Mystra?" Caiman asked the other chicoon sincerely. "Well, either way, I don't think we've come this far to just turn tail and leave. I don't know if we should join, but I don't know how else we could talk with whoever has been leading us along..." After a moment of thought, Gilia picked up one of the pins and spoke; "How about we just take the pins then, just so we can speak to them? The note says we should take them if we want to...'speak about joining.' Even if we don't want to join, if we want more information, I think we have to act like we do."

Little something extra: Arya reads the second note, her suspicions growing with every written word. Their "explanation", if you could even call it that, was incredibly vague. Order? It sounded like they just wanted power. The power to decide what was right and wrong. The power to pass judgement on those who they didn't agree with. That order was simply not just. Besides, they were willing to just throw away Mystra for their own gain. That absolutely did not sit right with Arya.

And yet, if they left, then they would learn nothing. Their journey would likely be for naught. As much as Arya didn't like the sound of it, it looked like they would have to "join", in order to keep investigating. Arya looked around the room, searching for any cameras or the like. She didn't see any, but she didn't trust the Chinati not to have a way of spying on them here.

Arya dropped her voice to a whisper. "Mystra. I'm going to take the pin. If we agree to meet with them, we can keep investigating from the inside. If they believe that we actually do want to join, they might open up more." Arya hesitated for a moment, then continued whispering. "We should stick together during this whenever possible. I know that this could be a dangerous operation, but I hope it doesn't come to violence." Arya waited for Mystra's confirmation before taking the pin. I wonder what we're getting into.

“it seems like they want us gone, but what i’m thinking.. is we don’t leave them alone. let’s annoy them and see what their stupid little club is all about, huh? it seems like it would be kinda funny to mess with them.” he looked at mystra, waiting to hesitantly grab a pin from the table. “creepy…” he silently honked.

Little something extra: Forge nods in agreeance, “Do it! If we see them call em out!” He beams, glad he seems to have made her feel better.

Forge looks back down the hallway where the sound of the door came from, “Gross, they need to oil their doors, it’s so creepy. …I wonder if their intentionally making this creepy and like.. Rusting their door hinges” He jokes, he jokes when he’s nervous.
Forge goes to it, looking it up and down before walking in, more so out of habit to remember his surroundings in case he gets lost at any point. “Man these guys like triangles!” Forge says as he playfully and dramatically flaunts over to the triangular table. He picks up the note and goes to read it aloud again as one does, when there’s another person in the room.

Forge scoffs, “They wanted US here! And they went on a vacation?? That feels like a copout!”

Forge continues to read, “Still seems sketchy.. And also, did they put a chant in here?” Forge looks at Mysta after reading the note, “Well… If we join them we can meet them, ask more questions and meddle?” He offers, “But also, something isn’t adding up… Why say in the last note that they NEED me, then in this one say they don’t? I feel like there’s more to this that we have yet to uncover.. I say we join them” He says and takes the pin, “You did say you were into conspiracy stories and aliens” Forge smirks and offers Mysta the other pin
