another pride kal for u guys <3 this time inspired by one of the MLM flags!

this comp will be a raffle!! there are a few extra things though, so please read the rest!

to get tickets for this competition, you have to either compliment or draw gift art for a community member! all art must be a sketch minimum, and compliments should be at least 2 sentences. you can get two tickets from complimenting community members, but you can write as many as you want!! each compliment counts for one ticket, so you need a minimum of two compliments to two different community members to get both tickets.

for gift art, each art piece counts as one ticket. all gift art should be given to different members than the compliments! for example, you can't compliment member A and send gift art to member A for two separate tickets; it would only count as one. two or three art pieces for the same person will also not count as another ticket. it must be different people. you can make a maximum of three gift art pieces.

you can get up to five tickets total! this will end on july 2nd @ rollover. feel free to mark & edit your posts until then!!

[vox] there are so many things i want to start off by saying, but alas i can only choose one starter, so here i go. getting to spend time with you regularly is something i look forward to so much. you're attentive, and caring, and so willing to listen when someone needs it. on top of that, i get to watch your dedication and effort that you put into so many things - including your GA adopts, your schoolwork, and even the art you do for yourself. i have learned so much from being able to watch you do art - you sat down and showed me how to use gradient maps, and how to use different layer types to change up colours so that you end up with a design you really like. i've learned so much from you during our time as friends and i'm so excited to continue. thank you so much for being such an incredible person, don't ever change for anything.

[atlas] it's so hard to pick a starting point for these aaa. i want to let you know just how proud i am of all the growth you've made as an artist. i've known you for a few years now, and i've seen your progress - it always makes me so happy to see you working to get better, or simply having fun doing what you do. i adore your line style - it's so soft - and the way you draw eyes! i also absolutely adore our chats together - you're an absolute joy to talk to, and every conversation we have means a lot to me! chatting about shows we've both seen, or a game we've both played is so much fun!

[cyraydust] cy, i have loved your art for years and years. the way you choose colours, and your blending style is absolutely stunning. the amount of detailing and effort you put into your art is so evident that i can't help but look forward to seeing what you share next. from your fursuits to your coloured pencil pieces to your digital art, you have such range of creativity. i really appreciate our conversations, and even if we talk very briefly, every conversation means so much to me.

[zailune] z a i l!! zail, i cannot tell you enough how much our conversations mean to me. you're always so sweet and understanding, and i appreciate so much how you're willing to listen and offer support. I enjoy hearing about Minnie and all her little escapades, seeing the funny memes and images you post, and on top of all that I adore seeing your art. the attention to detail you put into every single piece blows my mind. you're always ready to give tutorials if someone asks how you do something, offer help if someone needs it, or offer support. I love every interaction we have, and can wholeheartedly say i cherish all of them.

I'd really like to say a big thank you to HellyBoo, as they were always a good friend of mine when I was active in the species! I remember the chats we had very fondly!

I also absolutely love how cyno's art style and designs are! I will absolutely love my two kits they made me and will treasure them always. The linework is just stunning, and the designs are so pretty and soft and ahh I love their art style so much!

I wish I could compliment all of the nursery artists individually because they’re all amazing, but cyno especially has been doing incredible work lately! Their batches are all absolutely stunning and I am very impressed by how fast they’re doing them too - I hope I'll be able to snatch a ticket from them while they’re still a guest artist, getting a kit from them would be a dream :D

Another incredible artist I'd like to compliment is PleaserOfCrowds!! Their designs are just so beautiful, and I love the one kal I own by them to bits <33
I can’t really explain it too well but the markings on their kals always just… flow really nicely? And their color choices are really really good as well - and the prompts that come with them have been very fun so far as well! I can’t wait to get started on my entry for 2043 ^^
