Wherever she went, there was a lily, almost as if for good luck. A lily in the vet’s office whenever she was scared, a lily in the new dog park where she wasn’t sure she would befriend anyone, a lily at the herding venue where she had her first lesson. And they always made her happier. She was told that they represented pride, positivity, and wealth. While she is only wealthy in toys, she’s proud to think that she’s all her mother hoped for her to be.

Luckily, her breeder had a large fenced in garden filled with flower bushes that Sprig could play in to her heart's content. One of her favorite games involved hiding in the large begonia bush and trying to scare her siblings. Sprig would have flower petals in her fur nearly everyday from bursting through the flowers! But eventually, Sprig grew up and was old enough to go to her new home and had to leave the begonia bush behind. That poor bush never quite recovered from the rough playing, but whenever Sprig sees blossoming begonias she can't help but think back to those fun-filled days with her siblings.

Having come from a... Not so good background, Moth was a very anxious dog. It was a struggle to get her to leave the saftey of the crate she was brought home in, and she wouldn't so much as look at the other collies. Her owners did all they could to help, and this eventually led to "relaxing scents". While it was actually the soft words and slow steps that helped Moth, the ever present scent was a staple.
So when Moth found herself overwhelmed in the play field and had ran off, the faint scent of calm and caring was enough to ground her and remind her of all the exercises she'd done with her human. While more earthy and natural, the roses still smell like the feeling of being safe.
