"My favourite rock?"

She thoughtfully repeats the question asked to her.

"I have lots of favourites! There's so many pretty types of rocks, how could I not?"

"But my absolute favourite rock of all time would have to be Rhodochrosite."

She pulls one of said rocks from the goo her horns are made of.

"This one is my lucky Rhodochrosite! I call him Rhodo for short. Rhodo comes everywhere with me. He sits in my horn and makes sure I'm okay."

Kimi loves the fact that Rhodochrosite can come in so many different shapes and sizes. Sometimes it can be clear, cube like structures and other times it can form small, foggy crystals that swirl together like flowers. Other times it can form layers to make lines of different colors once polished.

If you were to ask, Kimi would say that it tastes like ham. She swears it does. Maybe that's just her mind playing a prank on her because of how it looks like meat... But she swears!

And of course because she loves Rhodochrosite so much, she collects many of them. Kimi collects them raw, polished, carved, big or small. Each one she adds to her collection that she keeps floating in her tail goo along with other rocks she's found interesting.

No Rhodochrosite can escape her paws.

Oh no Oh no oh no oh no. This is her chance to make new friends who share common interests with her, and her goo was racing so fast she could swear she would lose her own shape! Keep it together Ava! Keep it together! But this was her chance, and she wanted so badly to at least make one friend! Would they like her? Would they give her a chance? Would she give them a chance? Exhaling out, she knew she was going to need some help.

Opening her cherished box of gemstones, she pulled the one she knew could help her: her favorite rose quartz. It was a well worn thing, chosen from a batch of dozens it looked normal. But when she had touched it, she knew it was the one for her and so she grabbed it. Clutching it close, she felt calm, open, at peace. She was ready. She patted the box affectionately. The other stones would have their time but tonight? Her partner was the rose quartz.

Ava knows she has a tendency to keep her heart close to her sleeve, as much as she wishes otherwise. It is why she always keeps a rose quartz pendant close to her heart, which she believes inspires a person to open their heart more, and actually give others a chance to come in. It also brings a comforting energy, which she hopes she can share with others and bring peace to them as well. Also, admittedly? She enjoys how it looks as well. It never fails to make her smile to see a new rose quartz or someone making fancy jewelry with them!

rock of choice: Maude is obsessed with surprises- she loves that surge of energy you get when something unexpected happens! so it really isn't surprising that her favorite rock is a geode! She adores them. They look plain and boring on the outside, but you never know what you may find on the inside! purple crystals, jade-colored crystals- maybe even rainbow crystals! She had a whole collection of geodes she's cracked open. You wouldn't usually think of rocks as 'fun', but geodes are undeniably the most exciting rock! Its also fun to try and crack them open... she gets a real workout when she tries to open them!
