Nico steps close to the freezing and endless pool of water, letting out a soft sigh while they stare out while slowly lowering their body down to the cold sand, the water retreating away from them as if it was intimidated by them.
The water began to sneak back towards Nico and lightly brush against their paws before quickly backing away again, pausing for a moment as Nico rests their head on their paws with a slight bitter huff, the water swirling around as if it was dancing. It was hypnotizing. Entrancing. Nico yawns slightly as their ears flatten at the stiff silence, it was extremely unsettling but at the same time comforting for them to sit through, closing their eyes with a soft hum.
Slowly drifting off into sleep of the silent waves splashing infront of their paws. A comforting yet lonely place for them to come to rest but they honestly wouldn't trade it for anything.

prompt: Once, when Castor was just a goo, a destructive force from the sea came onto the land and ruined its home. Castor watched as all he had known washed away into the great ocean beyond. He called out for his brother, Pollux, but he was no where to be found. This gave Castor a hatred for the ocean, and all the creatures that inhabited it. Over time, however, it had a realization. The ocean wasn't being malicious when it destroyed his home and stole away his brother. After all, it was just water with some creatures swimming around in it, right? He never learned to love, or even care for the ocean that he once resided by, but he no longer despised it. No longer was he reminded of his brother's death when he gazed at himself in a lake, pond, or puddle. He became more at peace with what had happened, accepting that what was done was done. Some still regard Castor with caution and pity, seeing only his brother and not himself when looking upon him, but Castor has learned that some goobies can become stuck in their ways. It is only pleased that it didn't become that way.

prompt: Maia both admires and despises the water, as there is nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it. She desperately wishes to have that type of impact on others, and sometimes feels angry that such a simple element of nature can do so and not her. It is not uncommon for Maia to submerge herself to become one with the water, so she can feel more comfortable in her skin, feel like she has a greater purpose, and feel like she can influence someone... or something.
