Battle of the Bands has been Zephyr's biggest dream since he was just a kid. He'd received a guitar from his father for his 18th birthday and immediately took to it. He quickly got his friends together and formed their band, which he named "W.I.L.D." After a good couple of years of practice, the trio decided they were ready to take on the competition and signed up for the battle.

The day of the event was a hectic one. Zephyr and his band packed up all of their instruments and threw them into the van, their brows wet with sweat as nervousness crept into their minds. The venue was packed with other bands and their fans, and Zephyr could feel the panic sneak in. They didn't have a considerable fanbase, considering the trio had never released any of their recordings. They were just a small garage band that could only secure a couple of small gigs here and there.

Zephyr walked up to the front desk and shot the staff member a nervous smile, his voice breaking slightly as he handed her his I.D. "Hey, I'm Zephyr Lightning here with W.I.L.D. We're signing in for Battle of the Bands."

The woman at the desk gave him a nonchalant nod, handed him their set number, and pointed toward an uninhabited corner of the venue where they could unload their things and wait. The lead singer swallowed the lump in his throat and motioned for his bandmates to follow him, his eyes glued to the number on the card. They were the first band.

Intermittent clapping sounded around them as they lumbered onto the stage, a nervous smile plastered on each of their faces. Zephyr let out a small sigh and pulled his guitar out of its case, his anxiety fading some as his fingers traced over the cold surface. While his bandmates continued to set up, Zephyr drew toward the microphone in the center of the stage and flashed the crowd a confident smile.

"Hey everybody, My name's Zephyr, and this is W.I.L.D. You've got me on the guitar and vocals, Raven on the bass, and Lux on the drums. Let's rock."

Zephyr strummed his guitar and sang into the mic, his eyes closed with passion as he began their first song. He could feel his heart swell with excitement as he opened his eyes and scanned the crowd. They were going nuts!

Their set was over just as quick as it began, and the trio concluded with one last song. Zephyr gave the crowd another confident smirk, bowed with his bandmates, and left the stage.

At this point, he didn't even care if they won or not; they made it here, to begin with. Regardless of their standing in the competition, they'd just earned themselves more fans and more cheers than ever before. He knew now that they had what it took to be successful. Zephyr's dream and W.I.L.D. would only climb up from here, and he couldn't be happier. xxxxxx

Lewis: Whoa, really? I can hardly believe that.
Host J: Seriously.
Lewis: *laughing*
Host J: So for this very special milestone, I wanted to ask about an event that you think shaped you into who you are today. What would that be for you?
Lewis: Well, this is probably kind of basic, but the day I went to auditions.
Host J: Basic because you’re an idol?
Lewis: Yes, because I’m an idol. Wouldn’t most k-pop artists say the day they auditioned is the day that changed their life?
Host J: I would say so. It was probably that way for me. *laughing* But Lewis, please, tell your story.
Lewis: Okay. So you know how GT Entertainment used to have the monthly open auditions?
Host J: Yeah.
Lewis: Well, about eight years ago, I made a joke to my friend that if I wanted, I could go for an audition and get recruited. Like, I said “I’m so handsome, they’ll let me in right away.”
Host J: Oh! And what did your friend say?
Lewis: He said he’d give me twenty Zan(Kalonean currency) if I went for an audition right then.
Host J: *laughing* So I suppose you went for it?
Lewis: That friend never lent me money, so yeah, I did. I also was a teenager and wanted to prove I could do it. *pause* I can’t actually remember what I did with that money now.
Host J: So you tried out on a bet and got in!? Wow.
Lewis: It feels like such a twist of fate. Like, if I hadn’t been with them that day, I wouldn’t be sitting here with you now. I wouldn’t be a member of Tempest, I’d probably be working off my student debt as a paper pusher of some kind.
Host J: Have you thanked your friend for that?
Lewis: Oh my gosh, I think I haven’t. *looks into the camera* Thanks so much, friend!

The day Silver could never forget. It was the day she got her magic; how could she forget?
It was early, stormy, and freezing. Rain pounded on Silver's roof, turning her beautiful garden into a dreary, wet mess. Silver put on her green jacket, pulled the hood up, and braced herself to go outside.
She made a promise to a friend to meet them at the mall. It was unlikely that they would show up, but Silver didn't want to let them down. She walked to the bench by the fountain, waiting for her friend.

"Sorry I'm late; the traffic was horrible." Her friend said in a rush. "No, it's ok! Where do you want to go first?" Silver asked. "Ooh, can we go to the new clothes shop? The one by that one restaurant?" "Sure! After we're going to look at candles, you can't stop me!" Silver and her friend laughed and walked away.

They walked back to the fountain, several full shopping bags in hand when they heard a creak and a groan. Silver looked up at the large glass dome above the mall. A large crack was in the middle, rain and hail still hitting it. It shattered. Silver screamed, covering her head with her hands, dropping her bags with a clatter.

Silence.
Nothing hurt.
Nothing hit her,
Silver looked up.

There was a shield above Silver, made of faint hexagons, covering Silver and her friend.
Magic.
Silver protected her friend with magic.

She was magic.
Silver raised her paw. It glowed silver. It glowed with power. She could do what she wanted with her magic. Silver tested it. She could do whatever she wanted with her new magic.
