Swimming competition! 10 competitors will enter,
and then I'll roll a bunch of dice to see who swims the fastest and wins 👀
To enter, fill out the form below for one of your cats!

Each dice will have 10 sides, and you'll need 100 total points to reach the finish line.
Dice will be rolled all at once, so if multiple reach the end at the same time, there will be RUs.
(Basically it's like a board game, but I roll all the dice)

"You can do it Tag!" Apprentices were swarming the dragon, making the poor tom feel unconfortable. A few adult cats were surrounding him as well, but not nearly as many, and they were all women, not his type.

He sighed, why did he choose to jump into this mess? who knows, but it was to late, stretching he pushed the youngsters lightly to the side jokingly, and stepped towards the mass of water. Not many of the Tailless Comet cats were really swimmers, as large bodies of water were typically avoided due to real dragons swimming in them. He flinched but only for a moment. He would win this race, he knew it in his own heart. With that, a loud roar bellowed out in an attempt to show his might.

Petal looked around the lake at her competitors. She was nervous - even though she was a trail runner, used to being above ground, she didn't usually swim - even in the summer. and now they were hosting a swimming competition in the winter? she huffed, glancing over the partially frozen lake. It looked like she was going to get cold - it was a good thing she had short fur. It would dry out faster, at least. And even though she was nervous, she knew she was surrounded by her clanmates and friends. They would be the ones to cheer her on to victory, she knew it! She couldn't let them or the clan down. Petal was determined. She stretched, trying to warm up her muscles, but now she knew that she was ready. The competition wouldn't scare her anymore.

Why he wasn't blinking, he wasn't sure. But it felt right - the way you might stare down a stubborn piece of prey that wants to pick a fight, or a predator that's taking its chances with a whole patrol of cats.

Intimidation was key. Even if it was only... water that he was intimidating.

“Ugh, I hate swimming,” Minteyes grimaced, stretching each leg in turn. How had she even gotten here? Of all the things she could be doing- scouting twoleg-place for catmint, tending to the horsetail and juniper berries precariously planted by the camp, collecting cobweb. What if there was an emergency back at camp? While she was doing doing more than feeding into the curiosity about what this competition was all about? She shook herself, drawing in deep breathes. No. She didn't know what drew her to this odd situation, but she was convinced that if it was something worth avoiding, StarClan would have told her so. And with that thought, she dove into the water.

with a heavy sigh, laylah stared down into the water. "you can do this," the watcher murmured to herself, paws tingling with adrenaline. "you can win this."
she turns her head to look around at her competition, tapping her claws impatiently against the ground. she judged the length of the pool, her eyes narrowing as she thought out her plan. should she just swim straight and fast, or take it steady? slow and steady does win the race, after all. but... what if she just does it fast enough to not tire herself out? yeah, yeah. that's the plan. let's do this.

the stretches and nerves were only the beginning for this swimmer. larkwing wanted to win so she had to prepare for it. her gaze was set upon the water as she readied her body for the swim. first, it was simple leg stretches then it quickly became more. she twisted and consorted her body in a way to mimick the movement she would perform in the water. then, when that was done, she calm herself down and sat patiently as her tail went back and forth. she needed to fully be in swimming mode to be able to win this and that is what she did. she prepared her mind just like her body, and then it was go time.

KestrelSnap let out a heavy sigh, wading into the water along the shores of the beach. Her tail swayed behind her on the water surface as she took a leap forward, propelling herself past the point where her paws reached the sand, kicking her legs under her and keeping her tail out straight behind her. Her breathing quickened as she closed her eyes. Water isn't something to fear. I don't have to be afraid.
When KestrelSnap opened her eyes again she was wading in the blue waters of the ocean, she no longer felt like her fur was going to drag her down under, she felt more confident, calmer. She let out a sigh of relief as she paddled towards the shoreline, shaking the water from her fur when she pulled herself out of the water. She looked up and scowled at her brother before he could even think about making a comment.
"What?"
"don't even think about it Apple."
"You look like a wet rat"
"APPLEBITE!"

Salmonrun looked over his shoulder at his sibling, a wide grin on his fluffy face.
“Of course I’m sure!” he replied with a swish of his tail, before returning to his stretches.

Maplesong sighed, and just stood back, watching her brother’s preparations. “Remind me why you’re doing this again?” she asked, looking out towards the frigid river.

“Well, here’s the thing,” Salmonrun began, jumping up and down to get his blood flowing. “I got dared to, you see, by one of those big cats that come around once in a while? That I could swim the width of Silvermouth in the wintertime. And, as you know, I’m the best swimmer in the clan! I can’t take that lying down, now can I? So I’m getting ready, and I’ll show them I can do it!”

“…I see. Well, I’ll go get the dry cedar and a long stick, to fish you out when you’re done.” Maplesong turned away while rolling her eyes, despite her brother’s spluttering.

Ravaging Serpent stretched, lengthening their spine and preparing for the swim. This was it. This was what they had been training for. They would swim to the end, even if they felt like giving up. Most cats doubted them, due to their long fur, but Rav wasn't bothered by that.

Off went the serpent-bone armor, slightly draining their energy and determination. Then, the platinum sickle in all its gleaming glory. Rav felt strange without their accessories, but rolled back their shoulders, pushing the thought away. They had to focus on the journey ahead. They can do this. They can, and they will!
