Shanty absolutely adores the blue whale shark! It reminds her of Destiny from Finding Dory which Finding Nemo and Finding Dory are her favorite movies to watch. Whenever she hosted a sleepover with her friends, Shanty would be the first to call dibs on a movie choice and would always pick one of the two. Her friends have seen it so many times now they have it memorized. Shanty always loved the bond that Dory and Destiny had and would rewatch their scenes together when she felt lonely or sad. Destiny would always make her smile and now she wants to meet a real blue whale shark someday! Shanty imagines diving down in the deep blue and swimming next to a real blue whale shark on an epic adventure together! It's her absolute dream to do so no matter how hard, Shanty stays determined to befriend her fellow sharky friend!

They love purple betta fish! Purple is their favorite color and Betta fish have such wonderful motion in that frilly fin they have. They could stare at a Betta fish swim for hours and hours without ever getting bored. They actually have done exactly that, looking up to see it was dark out was quite the shock.

Mako was created for a bedridden woman, suffering from illness. Her husband thought she deserved a friend to occupy her while he worked, so he ordered her a forever cat.

The woman would rest her hand upon Mako while they watched National Geographic together, her very favorite channel. She used to especially love videos of fishes swimming around onscreen.

To give her hope, her husband said that when she got well again he would take her snorkeling in the Red Sea. Her dream was to someday recover and see the colorful fishes, especially a rainbow parrotfish, which is every color combined.

One day she got healthy and her husband fulfilled his promise. Mako was so relieved she recovered, but sad to see her leave... But when they came home with photos from their trip, she had fulfilled her dream and actually seen it in real life!
