how did this tat get it's scars?:
Some forests are nice, peaceful, harmonious. Others are ruthless, survival of the fittest. If you don't win, you may not life to see another day. With a creature as small as this little one, the forest was brutal as ever- If not, even more ruthless.
However, being small like this did have its perks. Underestimating a dull colored creature, they were able to escape with but a few deep wounds that ended up decorating their body today. One from a winged beats bigger than themselves, another feral feline that was hungry for anything it could get its claws on. Such encounters made this Tatsumon a seasoned forest veteran, with many scars to prove it.
