Prompt: It's understandable for him to be scared, and I don't want to stress him out more so I'll probably limit direct interaction and just stay in the room with him to ease him into getting comfortable with me. I'll make a little hideout from a box and some blankets. Maybe to get him used to my scent I'll put some of my clothes in it. Hopefully I have time to make a quick run to a pet store to get some food, calming treats, and calming toys! When I'm back he's getting a big meal and a calming treat, maybe with just a little people food on the side.
