Today marks one year of me being a lambie artist! It hardly feels like it's been a whole year already - here's to a few more! It's amazing how much this community has grown since this species first started, and I look forward to being able to engage more once finals week is over xD

Prompt: Stranbgely enough, their hobby is making flower crowns! Using either real or fake flowers, they craft beautiful crowns in requested colors for weddings, special gatherings, conventions... you name it he can design it! It has been a lot of trial and error, but they genuinely enjoy learning from each mistake, and reveling in every triumphant crown that finds a new owner!

Prompt: Rio was a quiet kid, and was born differently. They are nerodivergent (like me!) and tend to have trouble socialising. Their classmates understood that Rio had trouble socialising, but felt bad that they didn't have much friends. One day, a few of their classmates asked Rio if they wanted to hang out after school.

However, they nearly forgot about the spring parade that was going on, and they were worried if it'll be too much for Rio. They were wrong, soon Rio saw the parade, their eyes lit up. They fell in love with parades when they saw their first one with their friends!

All those colors, bands and silly clowns! But their MOST favorite is seeing those floats. The cool mechanics to make parts move, some colorful, some made of flowers, and some that are creative! Ever since that day, they wanted to be in a parade, and their dream goal is being able to organize parades, and to be a ride engineer, that deals with the mechanic side of floats. Their friends were so supportive of Rio's newly found special interest, and wanted to make their dream come true. Their skills didn't develop overnight, it took research, practice, and learning. However, it was all fun to them and didn't feel like work!

Thanks to their special interest, Rio is working in a large city, and is the top planners and mechanic for Thanksgiving parades, spring parades and more! Rio always asks their friends if they want to be stars on floats, to thank them for being there for them. This new job had helped Rio, and was able to develop social skills and how to accept themself!

Honey has one hive currently she keeps safe in a tree by her big burrow but she dreams to have 5 or 6 in the near future. Prompt: Extreme Candy Collecting! (And tasting!) Pina grew up liking candy like all youngins do, that is until he happed to try an unusually kind from a far away land. He was so blown away by the discovery and taste, the amazing diversity he started to notice, that he swore to both collect and taste every kind of candy the world has to offer! He now has a whole section of his house dedicated to candy, with personalized cubbies for every kind of candy, and even has sections with monitored temperatures to keep them fresh and looking good! He has over 2,000 different candies, from Aeros and the hundreds of different types of Kit Kats, to Tamarind and Mozartkugel and Galletas Doña Pepa! Once he finishes his collection (and gets added to the Guinness World Record of course), Pina will give away all the candy to orphanages all over the world, letting lambabies who may otherwise never try them, and little something to sweeten their day!

Prompt: peering out the window, marigold was feeling fairly contemplative. you know those odd moods you have sometimes, where you feel inclined to look back at the way you came thus far, and think about how you got to where you are today? no? just her? well, that's fine, in any case marigold was having another of her contemplative moods one rainy afternoon as she sat at her bay window and peered out. along the edge were flower pots, whose gentle blossoms she watched over with a caring gaze. she'd been gardening her whole life, in some form or another. when she was just a little kid, her mom and pop had her help out in the garden. it was a family endeavor to keep the garden alive and flourishing, and yet... it really stuck with marigold. her other siblings didn't take to it as much, but she'd wake up early every day to tend the flowers under the glow of the rising sun. she'd sing to them, and read in their company. it was serene-- and when her parents saw how much she'd taken to plants, they knew she'd found her calling. marigold moved away from her folks though, as everyone must eventually, and she struggled for a long while to find a home. being on the move all the time meant she didn't have the ability to plant a garden-- so she carried small potted plants with her, bringing them wherever she went. it was a modest, portable garden, a personal abode that she took solace in. while she couldn't retreat there like she could when she was young, they still brought her peace of mind. this lasted awhile, before she found a place. when she settled in, she planted those flowers she'd carried on her back all those years-- and they grew, flourished and spread, they gave life to a new garden that she cultivated and meticulously reared-- just like her parents had. the day she planted her last plot, she looked over the garden and shed a single tear as she realized one of her largest goals in life had just been met. she finally had her own garden... and she cares to it to this day. she thought of all of this as she looked at those little potted flowers by her windowsill, their colorful flowers bright against the gloom of the rainy day. flowers had always meant so much to her-- even when she was younger, and the world still seemed full to the brim with color-- they sparked joy. now when it was harder to find things to be happy about, her flowers reminded her of the good in life. like a dandelion poking up through a crack on the concrete, the good in life could never completely be paved over. she smiled softly to herself. gardening had made her more optimistic over the years. it gave her a safe space and a home even when she was on the move. she didn't know where she'd be without it! marigold made a mental note to send her parents a letter some time soon... after all, it was good fortune that they were the kind of folks who loved to garden that got her into the hobby!
